Best WLM Reviews

This place is very unassuming from the street and honestly I never even thought to try it because of this. That was a mistake because this place is delicious!! I got the lamb shawarma rice plate and it came with a salad, tzatziki and a spicy sauce. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also tried the hummus plate and it was the best hummus I've ever had. The woman who served us was polite and helpful. I can't wait to go back and try something else.
Al Aqsa is absolutely wonderful, and the food was so delicious!!!! My wife and I discovered Al Aqsa while visiting family in Salem. We were happy to find a halal restaurant, and felt blessed to enjoy the best lamb dishes we’ve ever tasted.
We enjoyed cups of Arabic coffee with our meal and sweet baklava for dessert. The owners were so kind, friendly, and attentive.
We wanted to go the next day, but they weren’t open. But we went back again that night so we could get more baklava to share with the whole family!!
I highly recommend going here for the best middle eastern food!
I ordered the lamb shawarma rice plate and my husband ordered the lamb shank and can honestly say that it’s one of the best we’ve ever had. The rice and meat had so much flavor, big portions as you can see in the photos, and price is reasonable. The owner was also very friendly. We will definitely come back.
The lamb shank was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS, tender and flavorful. Great service, great food and definitely worth the trip to try. Our new favorite place to enjoy a wonderful meal.
Mom and I live in the area, so we finally paid a visit. Unassuming place with tightly-placed tables. A friendly gentlemen took our order and then we were served by the women who also appeared to be the chefs. The entire experience, topped off with excellent food, felt like it just might be authentic middle eastern. We will go again.
Don't really have anything to complain about here. Gyro was solid, hummus was solid, pita was good.
It was a little awkward at first, when I entered everyone just stared and I couldn't even figure out who was supposed to take my order, over time they warmed up and became more friendly though. Very small family owned restaurant though, so I am happy to support the restaurant and see that it is still in business.
I LOVE this restaurant! Immaculate atmosphere, wonderful staff and the best food I've ever had! Got take-out for my mother's birthday, she loves the food too! Much love to Al Aqsa! ❤️
Amazing restaurant, I love the lamb and I always get the gyro and mint tea! Owners are awesome, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. The restaurant has beautiful historic artwork.
