Best WLM Reviews

First time to try this branch of Al Ameer and the food was great. We got some grilled meat and chicken with appetizers like hummus and tabboleh. Everything was tasty and worth the price. Highly recommended place to dine in and enjoy their tasty food. Five stars for sure.
Awesome place. I been going to Al ameer for nearly 30 years. I usually get the fried chicken but the waitress told me they were out which was strange. So I opted for the roasted lamb. It was good but definitely could be better. Not much fat on the meat ???? which was disappointing. Maybe they are not using the correct cut of lamb. Their fries are good and I think the salad is extremely bland so I upgraded to a Greek salad ???? also disappointed that I could not choose hummus as 1 of my sides since the roasted lamb came with rice. The restaurant is huge and their is always room. During the holy month of Ramadan they make roasted lamb on the weekends, they should do this year round.
We just came for lunch for the 2nd time, food was great both times, we also happened to have the same waitress both times, and although she was nice, she wasn’t very attentive. Once you put your order in you don’t really see her until you’re done eating. A guy brought out our food and I had to ask him for my pop because I never received it. And then I never got a refill until we were done with our food and ready to leave. Last time we were there, there was a decent sized group next to us so we excused the lack of service, but this time we were just about the only ones in the restaurant. I think next time I’m craving the food I’ll just do a carry out order instead. I was also wondering what the 3% admin fee is on our bill? I’ve never seen that before.
I grew up going here for over 20 years. Of all the Lebanese restaurants I’ve been to, I have NEVER IN MY LIFE seen zaatar bread burnt like this. You can’t even chew it. It’s not edible. The hummus was ok but the tabbouli soup…I can’t help but laugh at this point ???? From other reviews, I can tell they’ve went downhill baddd. I’ll never be back unfortunately.
Overall a nice experience as a first time visitor.
Food was good, service was good. Parking lot is difficult place to park in. Bathrooms are also okay.
I was very disappointed. We got there at 4pm. No ice in the water. Pita bread was hard. Shredded chicken and beef were dry. When they came to table. No one took empty dishes off the table. Girls were laughing and have a good time behind the counter.
I visit my family in Dearborn at least 6 times per year. I enjoy trying Lebanese restaurants.
On 01/27/2024, I visited Alamir Restaurant at the Dearborn Heights Location along with my 4 cousins.
The restaurant was well lit, clean and spacious. It was nicely decorated and the noise was acceptable.
We were welcomed and seated immediately. Then our waitress, SAJA, approached and greeted us with her hospitable and friendly attitude.
After my cousins ordered their dishes, it was my turn. But I was still undecided.
Ms. Saja suggested the stuffed lamb with confidence. Immediately I was convinced.
Even though we ordered 2x grilled Lamb Chops, grilled Kafta, Chicken Shawarma and stuffed Lamb, the dishes arrived quickly.
The restaurant had only fountain soda. I wanted can soda. Saja went on and beyond to make her customers happy.
Saja went to a store nearby and bought me a soda can. That was a First Class Customer Service. May Allah reward her for her thoughtfulness and kindness.
All dishes were large and had abundant amounts of food. My cousins enjoyed their choices.
My Stuffed lamb dish can feed at least 2 persons. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked.
The manager was friendly, hospitable and professional. She ensured that our dishes were prepared to our liking.
I highly recommend the Dearbon Heights location for delicious, authentic Lebanese cuisine served by the First Class Customer Service Waitress, SAJA.
Recommended by a friend! Everything was so good! The portion size is huge, friendly staff, quick service.
