Aki is truly a Philly Gem! The only place where you can do all you can eat for SPECIALTY Sushi lol. What I love most is their quality and fresh ingredients. I also appreciate their service and warm hospitality! They’re very welcoming to everyone and goes out their way to make you feel welcome.

I was looking forward to a nice meal, but was horrified to find a fly in my food! When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they seemed interested but dint do much about it. It was shocking to see such a lack of concern for basic cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
The rest of the meal felt ruined, and I couldn’t help but wonder about the overall hygiene of the kitchen. It’s a shame because the restaurant has potential, but finding an INSECT in my food was inexcusable. I definitely won’t be coming back, and I’d advise others to be cautious. Hopefully, management takes customer feedback seriously and improves their standards.

This place has been my Friday treat for the past 4 weeks. I typically get the Pork Buns, but I've also enjoyed the Ramen as well. Three pork buns for $12 plus tax and tip is not bad at all. Especially when the quality of the food is really good and the customer service is 5 star.
I was really hoping to write a glowing review for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The food itself was decent, but the service left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, my party was promptly greeted by a host who informed us it would just be a moment before we were seated. This part of the experience was perfectly fine. However, while we were waiting, another server approached us, and we politely let him know we were already being helped. For some reason, he seemed offended by this and walked away with an attitude—unfortunately, this same server ended up being assigned to our table.
We were seated at 6:40 PM, but it wasn’t until 6:58 PM that our server came to take our order. With happy hour ending at 7:00 PM, it felt like he was deliberately delaying to time us out of the discount. To make matters worse, he messed up my order, and I didn’t feel comfortable addressing it because his attitude was consistently unfriendly. For instance, when I asked for directions to the restroom, he rolled his eyes and vaguely gestured in a general direction. Later, when I requested a side of rice, he ignored me initially but brought it out without any acknowledgment—his demeanor throughout the meal made it seem like basic communication was a chore.
There were several other issues during the service. He never checked on us during the meal, accidentally poured water into my friend’s soda glass, and then blamed my friend for the mistake. When it was time to leave, we waited an unnecessarily long time for the check because he still wasn’t attentive.
Overall, the food may have been fine, but the lackluster service completely overshadowed the meal. I hope this was just an off day for the server, but it left a poor impression that makes me hesitant to return.
The sushi tastes a little bit unique, I am not sure if it is because of the all-you-can-eat style.

When I got there the place was kind of empty but I was getting a late lunch. The service was friendly and the food was good, but the size of things are not what I am used to. The thickness of the sashimi was way to big in my opinion, maybe they could slice it a little thinner and turn into more units intead of just 2 big thick slices per order. In the case of octopus that thick slice is difficult to chew and it kind of ruins the experience of eating octopus. Again, my opinion. The size of the rolls were also a little bigger than expected or used to. Shrimp tempura roll was unnecessarily big. The wakame seaweed salad (the green picture) was wonderful. The service was good. They have an all you can eat option.
The food is fresh hot and delicious. You can dine inside or outside, at least when I went there was outside dining option. Ramen delicious and Sushi is hands down amazing. Chefs kiss ????????????
Really enjoyed the food! We did the all you can eat sushi option. They are very generous with their portions. Also had a couple of their signature drinks which were really fun. The service was amazing: prompt, kind, and very helpful when we had questions. I also definitely recommend the pork buns!
