Sushi was not what I expected but my husband's was good. Rice is a lil dry for my taste but flavorful. Crab puffs were delicious ????
This is my favorite place for sushi! I love the service but I special shootout to Madi and Layla for the excellence service. I haven’t had such a great experience with servers in a long time and I’m a frequent restaurant eater. Even posed for my picture lol! She’s so personable!
I have been coming here for years, and they have always been delicious. Yesterday, I ordered my usual Singapore noodles to go. When I returned to the office, there was no curry on my noodles. I called and spoke with Jesse, who was super nice and apologetic about the mess up. She told me to come by tomorrow, and she would make me another order, no problem. I called the next day and was put on with the manager. She begins yelling at me in broken English, saying, “you have to order extra curry when you want extra.” I tried to explain to her that there was no curry on the noodles. She rudely interrupted me, so I raised my voice and told her, “LISTEN, let me finish my sentence!” She then tells me to calm down. My response was, “don’t tell me to calm down; you need to let people speak without interrupting; that is rude.”
My husband went to pick up the remake and, to his surprise, was approached with the same attitude (huge mistake). She yelled at him, and he quickly responded with his yell. She then calmed down and gave him the order. My husband is so upset that I can now no longer spend our money here. He believes she was the manager or owner.
I am highly disappointed in this place. Whomever this woman is, you have lost a customer. If you don’t like people, open a different business. Your attitude is nasty, and your customer service skills are lacking. DO BETTER!! Customers beware!
The pics are what I received yesterday vs. what I received today. Huge difference. Your fault, ma’am! Not mine!
Although the space is nice and the service friendly - I have to note how un-allergen friendly this restaurant is. I have been to several sushi restaurants where a sesame allergy can be accommodated, but several of the rolls here have sesame premixed or pretopped on the sushi. It would be a wonderful thing if that was not premixed, especially considering sesame is one of the top allergens in the country. Otherwise great spot, but unfortunate how limiting the menu can be!
Overrated. Though their food looks presentable and same as anywhere else, it's lacking in flavor here too. We ordered multiple dishes at the time, and all of them were very salty. When I spoke to the server about getting a remake, she exclaimed that the sauce was already pre-made and applied to any dish that was ordered, and they couldn't fix that.
They may specialize in sushi, but it shows they don't take as much care in preparing their other dishes, which are the more americanized ones; and those are the ones that fall short.
At the time, we ordered 2 different types of sushi rolls as well, but they were okay > good, not amazing.
AND the kitchen also got my order wrong, but the server still had the nerve to serve me the wrong dish. She even informed me they messed up my order and tried to convince me that this new dish would taste just as good. Because it was my first time, I was cool with it because I wanted to try alot of their menu. Soorly disappointed though.
There are definitely better places for sushi and Asian fusion.
Came here for dinner. All foods were delicious however the humidity was not good. It seemed like they did not turn on A/C and it was quite hot inside. Mask is not required here. Store looks nice and clean. Good service.
Great sushi!!! One of my favorite places in Kingwood!
