Best WLM Reviews
Went there for dinner. The location is near ala Moana mall with plenty of parking, at least in the evening. The interior is small maybe 30-40 people for seating including a sit on the floor dining area. We enjoyed both the sushi and cooked meals. Scallops and New York steak were nicely
Seasoned. Recommend trying this place for both tourists and locals.
Extremely authentic dining experience. Expensive compared to other nearby sushi options but the atmosphere is much better. They have a traditional tatami mat dining space as well as a large sushi bar.
Walk-in by 9pm, no problem with ordering food.
Look so tradition Japanese restaurant, very nice atmosphere.
Food is good and above standard. the best sushi in the area.
they go easy for the tip. i did 10% by the way.
I ordered the omakase and this was part of it. (I wish I took a picture of everything before eating). Everything was delicious and we even got complimentary dessert at the end. There was so much food I almost couldn’t finish it all. The service was quick and friendly. You must go try!
Try their signature dishes - the scallops were delicious and the chef made our favorite rolls that are not on the menu. Everything was very fresh and tasty!
Food was fresh and delicious and service was incredible. We ordered the large sashimi platter and my only complaint would be that some of the pieces came in two, some in fours and others in threes. I would consider this place a bit of a hole in the wall. It’s small but feels very homey.
Spicy tuna and salmon skin roll were good, just smaller than I expected. Agedashi tofu was a bit more bland than I'm used to. Butter scallops were good. I guess they were closing soon so the server came over to constantly take dishes away from our table which was kind of annoying. We were looking for a last minute place to eat, should've looked at the pictures more clearly. They have a lot of awards posted on the wall so try it out for yourself
We didn't make a Reservation (highly recommended) but were seated rather quickly. We were seated in the traditional dining area which was amazing! The Scallop Butteryaki is definitely recommended. Had the Soft shelled Crab roll, Spicy tuna and Salmon rolls. All of it was absolutely delicious! For the price you definitely get what you pay for and then some.
