Midrange sushi place. Solid 4 stars of the that's what you're looking for! Affordable sushi option in Maple Grove.
Portions are small, so keep ordering if you're doing all you can eat. Looks like they have a takeout option as well.
Great prices, but not gluten friendly due to cross contamination across all stations.
Great for kids, groups, family and friends of all ages.
The value you get for these All-You-Can-Eat Sushi places is super good, if you're not too fussy about your sushi. This place seems to be a rebrand of the previous AYCE sushi place in this location. The menu looked the same, except for their signature Akame roll.
Like I said, if you're not fussy with your fish quality, these will satiate your palate. The sashimi is thinly-sliced and while the salmon was good, the tuna was on the lighter side of pink there. But at least the Rainbow Roll was pretty good, though the rice paper wrapping on the Akame Roll made it too dry for a roll.
Wonderful experience. Professional staff. Delicious options. Fair value. We will definitely be back.
That sounds like a positive change! It's great to hear that Akame Sushi has expanded their menu and improved their service while still offering affordable Japanese food. It's always nice to have more options for sushi rolls and ice cream flavors. If you enjoy their offerings, that's what matters most!
The first time I went here, I was pretty upset with how slow the service was. However I went back a few more times and it's definitely improved. Food itself is great, everyone is really nice, hard to beat all you can eat sushi at that price and quality
Always great all-you-can-eat ????. This is our go-to spot... with the price, selection of food, and taste, it's where we end up going when we want sushi ????.
The staff has always been nice and attentive every time we've gone. They are personable and do a great job.
Even if people don't like sushi or rolls, they have other food offerings, such as beef, salmon or chicken teriyaki, fried rice, noodles, chicken wings, shrimp (cooked), and several other non-seafood, or raw items.
If you want he full selection, it's best to go for dinner or on the weekends. I've been to the lunch version, and it is still beyond satisfying.
This place is great for either yourself, two people or a group. It's great for sharing and trying items. It offers the opportunity to try small amounts of several different food items, as the variety is plentiful.
Definitely try this place if you haven't. If people in your life don't like sushi, offer to take them to this place to ease into it, or if they've never had it. My parents had never really tried sushi before, so we took them o this place, and they have really grown to like it. It's also exposed them to trying things they never thought they would have liked.
Good AYCE sushi spot with good rolls & lots of food to pick from. They were quick too so food came out right away. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the fried rice & miso soup.
For $32.99 per person AYCE, it is a bit expensive compared to other places. Loved some new items. Four of us were enjoying the food until we saw the bill. Service fee was added!!! 18% without noting on the menu. Wish they were more transparent about # of people to add a service fee. What a killjoy! We will not be going back.
