I love the AK El Mercado. I stopped by and noticed Tacos de Canasta. I ordered them and what my plate had was quesadillas. This was far too disappointing. This establishment has great food selection and choices that I can say are delicious but I for one suggest AK El Mercado remove Tacos de Canasta as this is an embarrassment to one of Mexico's finest street tacos. I do not recommend them. The other tacos and food items are certainly worth indulging in.
Never stopped in Walla Walla and was told that I had to try Ak's on my way through to Idaho. Not disappointed one bit! This place is amazing! You HAVE to go on Thursday and get the Queso-Berria tacos! And the Pina colada drink was small but powerful. $13 a drink is really really steep but they were good
Food is always great, but our bartender Grace was freaking exceptional! Highly recommend this place. Bonus if you have a chance to sit at the bar.
We had a wonderful night sitting on the patio with our dogs. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. A lot of the menu is a la carte which makes it easy to try different things and share. The drink menu is also fun. The space could have comfier seating and the bathrooms need an upgrade
If you're a taco enthusiast like me, prepare to be amazed at AK's Mercado in Walla Walla. These are seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had the pleasure of tasting!

Brought my ASD non verbal 8yo in to pick up our food. They had a live band and she was terrified. Security was amazing with her. So thankful.. Got home and our gyro was AMAZING. Double meat is enough for my girl and I to share and her again for lunch. Best gyro around! Fries were hot as well.
Always love coming here for drinks and food after work. Deanna and Grace at the bar are two of the sweetest servers and they took such good care of us! We will continue to visit and appreciate the friendly hospitality:)
Excellent tacos, service and atmosphere. Most authentic Mexican food north of the border! Highly recommend.
