1 star. Ordered Carne Asada tacos. They were fine actually. But the sign says 3 tacos and they give you 2. They told me they're out of the smaller tortillas so they give 2 bigger ones. Shady. Only 1 person working register and 1 chef for tons of customers. The cashier lady is great though. I was shocked at the price of my meal otherwise I would have given her a tip. 37 bucks for tacos and a drink.
Very shady place. Will charge you close to $30 for a BS burrito bowl. They will add on the cost of the meat even though it includes it. Not palatable. Definitely eat somewhere else.
Ordered chips and guacamole
Chips were stale and oily, guacamole was not fresh and quantity was tiny just like taster cup size
My wife and I ordered breakfast. Two basic plates were $48.00+ !? I thought, ok maybe the food is awesome. Give it a chance. 20 minutes later, your food came up. Awful, rather than awesome. The lady at the front was very good but the kitchen did not perform at all. We were not the only disappointed customers. No way Ajo Al. No more top tier price and bottom tier food for us.
This place is utterly disgusting. Over priced gross food that was all cold. Queso wasn't melted. Ran put of Ranchero sauce so they sold me a 28 dollar burrito (Carne aside added was $7) with no sauce. Didnt tell me ahead of time that they were out of sauce but still sold me the item. A bunch of slackers working in the back looking high. Laughing and carrying on while the poor lady in the front is struggling with the line. Rice and beans were hard, meat had boiled texture and look to it. Offered no plastic wear with my meal. .... this place is horrible and they are getting away with it. If you're going to charge these prices, the least you can do is put out an honest product. Shame on the management and owner. You're ripping people off. I'm disgusted.
The worst!!! Ordered the tacos miranda. It was supposed to be grilled chicken with cabbage & some kind of Chipotle sauce. I got stale corn tortillas, cold unseasoned chicken out of a bag, iceberg lettuce & thousand island dressing with a side of cold beans & hard rice. You're better off waiting until you get to your final destination to eat.
You don’t expect airport food to be great or cheap, but this place takes it several steps too far. The food is really expensive ($18 for everything) with pathetic portions for the price. The food doesn’t look anywhere close to what is depicted. I got the chicken tacos and the chicken was really dry with hardly any actual meat. The rice was undercooked. Beans were just okay. Next time, I’d rather have a cold overpriced sandwich from a Hudson News than eat here again. I’m honestly surprised they are still allowed to operate at the airport.
The staff here is nice though, this is not on them at all. This is clearly a company that doesn’t care about anything other than squeezing out as much profit in each sad portion as they can.
I was returning from Loreto, Mexico on Monday 11/11 and had a 4 hour layover in Phoenix. The last thing I wanted to eat was Mexican food since I had spent 5 days in beautiful Loreto but terminal E has limited food choices. I decided on (3) chicken tacos with rice -well once I received my food and sat down to eat -the rice was mushy and parts were hard. The tacos were dry and missing the chipotle sauce. I returned to the counter-and shared with the woman that I can not eat “this “ rice. She called the manager over-and shared my frustrations. At the same time another customer-came to the counter and threw his food down saying that it was disgusting! Let me not digress….
The cashier then gives me back the rice-and there’s no pico sauce on top????I then asked, “where’s the tomatoes?” “Oh, you wanted the topping?” Asked the manager????yes, that’s how you served it the first time -I replied.
Then the African American male worker says,
“So, what is she complaining about?”to his boss……. I responded, I’m complaining about the fact that the rice was hard and I’m paying for this meal and therefore I should get the best quality of food and who are you to question why am I complaining?
After I took the food and went to go eat I was thoroughly disgusted!! It was bland, mushy & very difficult to eat????
If you’re ever in Terminal E and looking for food ….DONOT EAT here!!!!
