Visited with a group of four for dinner and had a nice meal. Staff was patient and very accommodating for substitutions. The restaurant itself was pretty big inside and I feel like it’s a good spot for groups or dates. The setting was casual and comfortable. We ordered margaritas and mixed drinks with chips and salsa to start. When our dishes came out, the food was hot and the portions were pretty big so we each ended up with food to take home. Among our mains were fajitas, a burrito bowl, and chimichangas.
Katie is fantastic!!! The food is always delicious and good portions, plus they mark the gluten friendly options. The patio was clean and comfortable and dog friendly for our pup, margaritas delicious as always! One of our favorite local places
Our family had only positive experiences on the 2 occasions that we’ve dined here in Al Ajo’s. The food and service were great! They served unlimited chips and salsa, which my kids loved! I like that they also cater to picky kids and serve chicken strips and fries for my 6-yr old who has yet to expand his palate.
First time visiting and I will definitely be back for another visit when I have more time. (I was on my lunch) I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga lunch plate which comes with a side rice and cheesy refried beans. It was served with some green chile sauce enchilada style and a drizzle of crema. You also get to munch on chips and salsa while you wait to place your order and receive your meal. However, the wait wasnt very long at all, service was quick and everyone was so friendly. Their alcoholic beverage menu looked amazing. I have to mention even though tequila isn't my thing. Their menu listed flights of tequila for your tasting pleasure. Margarita choices looked really amazing as well. They also have a small wine list available as well which is more of my drink preference but there are plenty of choices.

We love their salsa! The food is always hot and packaged nicely. I ordered a cheeseburger here one time and haven't ordered anything different since. It is literally one the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. And I'm not even a burger person. It's simple, but always cooked perfectly, at my requested temp of med rare.
2 years later. Still going strong.
Steak salad is a great go to, healthy and generous portion.
Truly appreciate the consistency in quality and hospitable staff. I sometimes try to talk myself into going somewhere else bc I got to ajo Al’s a lot but there are very few places around that have same level of quality and consistency. Keep doing what you do so well!

These guys always make a great plate of Mexican food! Meat always has a nice sear and flavor on the fajitas. Service is polite and attentive. There's not a Mexican place in this price range that comes close or even gets my business.
My review is about the wonderful service my friend and I received yesterday, 10/29/24 after 6 pm, from Server Rachel at Ajo Al's Arrowhead. I have never received such service and attention from anyone before. She thought of everything, from the moment she took our orders to the moment we finished eating, and even came back to our table to offer us water or anything else before she took off for the night. It was my friend's birthday and Rachel made sure to make this dinner special.
My friend and I were very happy with Rachel! I hope we get her next time we go to Ajo Al's.
