Delicious! Whenever I travel to SD I make sure to come here with family. The workers have always been very kind and welcoming! Service is super fast! Ramen has always been perfect and the lychee tea is my favorite!
My noodles seemed under cooked and soup wasn't hot. There for daughters dinner she was satisfied with hers . Last time mine was amazing, hopefully one off..
Food is very2 Good! Whenever we crave for Japanese ramen & Calamari we always go to Ajisen Clairmont branch! We usually order the ABC ramen & tentacles calamari or Dragon roll! Yumm! ????????????????????????
Great ramen with umami flavorful broth. I asked for plain ramen for the kiddo and got exactly what was ordered. This reminds me of the rich tonkatsu flavored ramen broth I loved in Japan. The noodles are al dente with some chew.
After having terrible korean bbq, I’m glad we came here to make up for the night.
Family friendly and comfortable booths. Will be back again. A convenient quick bite to eat across the street from the Tesla Supercharger.
Delicious ramen at Ajisen! We ordered the spicy beef and combo pork ramens along with a dragon roll and milk tea. Everything tasted amazing, and was delivered quickly. The staff were all very nice. Very clean restaurant, great for going alone or with a large group. Recommend!
This place is good for what it is. It's been a long time since I at at this chain restaurant. I like it. But there certainly are better ramen in other places, but this is not bad. Friendly service and clean restaurant. Food is good.
I'm actually just passing by San Diego. Use to work here about 30 years ago. This building or buildings in this area was not here yet. So it brings back memories when I'm here.
1st time here.
When I showed up, there were 2 booths only. However, It took a while to be seated. 1 girl in the front was on her phone most of the time. Never looked up or greeted me.
1 guy who was running the food out eventually saw me and seated me. Quickly brought water. Took my order. The food came at a decent time. Very delicious, very large serving. it's some of the best ramen I've ever had. Shoyu pork ramen was the one I got. Thick juicy slices of pork, and it was just pure perfection in presentation and flavor.
The guy never came back to check on me... no one ever did ???? until after an hr. I waved him down for the check. Paid and got a baggie for my leftovers.
Overall, food is 10/10
Service was (for me) a 5/10
The servers were really nice and the food tasted so good. I got the Ahjisen ramen which is basically Tonkotsu ramen, but the broth was super flavorful, noodles have good texture, and the pork literally fell apart in my mouth. Would go again, thank you!
