We had great experience at this Indian-Nepali restaurant! We tried steamed momo and goat biryani. The biryani was absolutely perfect – the spices were spot on, and the raita complemented it so well. The goat had skin and bones which was how we wanted. The momo was decent, though a bit on the dry side, but the chutney made up for it with its great flavor. Overall, a fantastic meal.
Loved the food, the chicken could’ve been less dry but the tikka masala was flavorful and palatable and it went perfectly with the garlic naan. Atmosphere is very random and uncoordinated. Service was slow but busy! Will order take out next time!
Wow! This place is truly so delicious!! The chili chicken momos are to die for I crave them everyday, I wish I was rich so I can buy it everyday. If you need a halal (only the chicken) place with yummy food stop by here!!! Their chicken tikka was also amazing and garlic naan
Has a good portion size and a nice surrounding. We bought a two cokes, mix platter, hot and spicy naan, chicken biriyani and a chicken makhani.
Total cost (without tip) = $52.76
I felt that the biriyani could have more salt in it. Otherwise it was a good place to try an indian dish at a reasonable price.
Longtime Gaslight Clifton favorite. I had the Chicken Dal with a spice level 4 (out of 6), which was perfect for me. The portions were large.
Dining in was nice, as the decor is beautiful and also relaxing. It wasn't crowded, but they handled a ton of delivery and carryout orders while I was there.
Tried their Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Momo and mango Lassi. I liked the Palak Paneer most. Worth trying. The Chicken Tikka Masala was average. Nothing too fancy considering the price. Momo was good. Worth trying. Mango lassi was also tasty. The service was great.
Placed takeout order with door dash. Noted food allergy (Peas). Which was clear on the order- “no peas (allergy)”. Allergen still added to food, was told cook said it would not taste good without. Asked to have dish removed from bill/refunded was told no as dish was already made. Did not care I could not eat it. $17 dish out of $80 order. Will never have my business again.
Today the 16th of November I and my wife went to Ajeet India restaurant in Ludlow to get our dinner. We ordered a combo biryani, fish vindaloo and 3 different types of naan. The fish vindaloo had less fish and more potatoes and was quite mild although I had ordered a spice level of 5. The wait time for the food was too much. The combo biryani was not at all good and was made just like a pulao. There was a fly in our table too which was difficult to do away with. We returned the combo biryani and ordered chicken tikka masala which was much better. Unfortunately when I went to pay I was told quite bluntly that I had to pay for the combo biryani also which we returned since we had taken some spoonful of it. It was when she asked me that if I want to speak with the chef about the combo biryani and its quality, the chef advised her to take off the biryani from our final bill. The tall and lanky server was quite disrespectful and argued with us about the combo biryani and it's superior quality!! She had an attitude too. We have been coming to Ajeet India for quite sometime. Today was the first time when the food and service was so bad. We have decided to stay away from Ajeet India.
