If you crave for Indian food in US this is the place
I believe they have the best chicken tikka masala in town!! So buttery creamy pairs good with rice and the garlic naan! According to the server they make their naan authentic way. Love their appetizers too samosa and those chicken tenders.
Ajanta has been a favorite restaurant overall for many years of our whole family. When our adult children were still young and in our home, we frequently stopped here for our noon meal after church. This evening meal was no exception to the excellent service and food we have come to expect over the years, this time enjoyed with our adult daughter, her husband and daughter. Fun to continue the tradition into the next generation.
I work here in kettering, I eat here at least once a week. The People are very nice and very respectful. The food is delicious. I have never had a bad dish. It is my absolute favorite restaurant.
A rare five star of every category! The lunch prices are amazing. The portion sizes are amazing. I normally eat a lot, but I had a lot left over. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. Walking in, I was prepared to spend $30+, but I ended up spending only 18 dollars for an entrée and a side. The food was amazing!
This was my first time coming to this restaurant. I am not a huge fan of Indian cuisine, but a friend recommended the tandoori chicken, and it was delightful. It had pretty good flavor and didn't necessarily taste like curry (which was what I was worried about). My husband got the butter chicken, and he loved it! We also got the appetizer platter that gave us small samples of a few different appetizer options. The appetizers were pretty good, and I would recommend getting the plate where you can try multiple options. The atmosphere was elegant and clean and the menus were visible at the table, so they didn't have to hand any out to us. Our waiter was attentive and kind and answered the questions we had. The rice here is SO good, and the garlic naan bread paired really well with our dishes.
My favorite place in all of Dayton for Indian food. Maybe even food in general. The staff is always so nice and love to joke around. The food comes out fresh and exactly as ordered. Always come here with friends to eat family style because there’s so many great options!
Reliably delicious Indian dishes and exceptional service!! For example - I often dine w some blind friends and the servers here take such great care of us - going so far as to serve their dinners in bowls that make it easier for them to eat. Amazing naan, korma , chicken , fish and vegetarian dishes!
