We went for a late lunch. We have been trying to find a spot for good fried shrimp and unfortunately a few of the other local spots have let us down. This place had the best fried shrimp on our whole trip. The fries were also tasty and crispy. Our food came out fast and you could tell it was freshly fried. I would definitely go back if I had time to do so.
Fresh and flavorful food! Great restaurant on the water. We highly recommend the steak tacos, fish sandwhich, crab cakes and mozzarella cheese balls. Our server was amazing. We will definitely be back!
AJ’s is a popular chain restaurant on the Emerald Coast. This one is located near 30A and has live music and great atmosphere/food.
This place will be a favorite of mine for years to come! Great service to the point we felt welcomed the moment we arrived with quick service and answering questions we might have. The food was fantastic with great taste and very satisfying! The atmosphere was spot on; very relaxing with live music and close to the beach.
Fun decor and it's nice that they had live music on Thursday. Not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The food was just okay for the price. They did give us some. Complimentary shrimp which we appreciated. They were excellent. So much seasoning on my fish that it's all I could taste. I would not recommend the She Crab Soup or Gumbo. The Smoked fish dip was very good. The key lime pie was fine.
Stopped off the highway with the intent of visiting a different local restaurant. When we discovered all half-dozen parking spaces were full and we'd have to take a bus into the community, we baled and stopped into AJ's instead. SO glad we did! Great outdoor seating, great service, and EXCELLENT FOOD! We each (wife & I) had tacos. Would most certainly return! Highly recommend!
My grandparents went to AJ's Thanksgiving event. They have bragged to me non-stop about their server, the food, and the entire event. There was open handicapped parking right in the front. They sat at the bar and were served by the bartender. They didn't get her name but were thrilled with her friendly, attentive demeanor. The entire event was donation based, and an envelope was provided for privacy. I am so thankful to AJ's for hosting this event and to the staff who generously work the event.

Great lunch! The firecracker shrimp was amazing. Couldn't stop licking the bowl. Great service! Everything was cooked to perfection.
