We eat here at least twice a month. Buffet as well as menu are great! Steaks are large for what you pay. The best part is the staff. Waitresses are fast, attentive, and kind. We will continue to eat here.
My husband and I stopped by this restaurant on a whim, coming back from TN; and the dinner bar was awesome! The fried chicken was the best I have had in 40 years. I also enjoyed the greens. But the best unexpected item was the apple hot turnovers. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend that you try this restaurant out. They offer steak and fish on certain days too.

We passed by this restaurant and quickly looked at the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were kindly greeted and set by a wonderful waitress. They have a very nice salad bar that was extremely clean. The pulled pork and fried chicken was absolutely delicious.
This restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and that is always nice.
My Daughter and I went there on Wednesday 9/11/2024 and from the start when we walked in a waitress met us on the line and asked us where we wanted to sit. My daughter is visibly impaired so she got us close to the buffet bar. The restaurant was clean and the buffet bar was stocked very well and everything was hot and good. Our waitress kept checking on us giving us extra napkins and refills on our drinks. Our meal was very good and we were full when we left.

We aren't locals, but we have visited here several times in the last 2 years. We have consistently found great food, service, and pricing. It is an older, remodeled steak house, I believe, but they have managed to keep the best ofp both worlds: cooked to order steaks and Southern home cooking buffet. If you leave this place hungry, it's your own fault!
I always get take out plates from here. I like it cause you can order what you want and go to the bar to fix your own salad or dessert for take out. Food is great and alway satisfying. 2/14/22 The food is still fantastic and you get what you pay for forsure! I hope they keep on making good comfort food like this for years to come A+ P.S I should get a free meal considering all the Advertising I've done for them ???? lol 3/29/22 Still wonderful food from the Buffet "take out plate" 4/29/22 the fried fish & chicken from here is outstanding! 5/20/22 Chicken and sides was fantastic! 7/19/22 sides were really good, Fried chicken was Subperb! Best Fried Chicken yet from AJS!???? 9/2/22 Food still fantastic. Take out from the bar is always a big plus.
I took my lover and her family here. Really good home cooking the atmosphere is fantastic I would recommend eating here keep it going.
