FIRST off, there was this nasty "I don't know what" on the floor with a KitKat wrapper on the little shelf above the goop. Now let's get to the actual service...... the gentleman that did my nails did not completely paint all my nails, did not get all the dip powder off my hands when he was done, & proceeded to tell me that I was wrong (like he knows me, my profession, & my body personally) in requesting 4 layers of dip. My profession is rough on my nails & I don't want to have to return tomorrow for chipped nails. Lastly, I go to pay & there is no way to give a tip unless it's with cash. Is your company DELIBERATELY taking cash tips to avoid the TAXES on the tips???? Well, I don't carry cash. #Sorrybutnotsorry
My daughter picked this idea off Pinterest for both of us and they did an amazing job!!!!! This had a ton of detail and they did an excellent job! Highly recommend!!!
Just got a mani/pedi here for the first time and had a GREAT experience. Called day off and got right in with a friend of mine. Kim did my pedicure and she was very gentle. Tia did my acrílico nails which are gorgeous and she’s also very fun and personable. Highly recommend :)
Highly recommend going here to get your nails done. I’ve been going here for a while and every one is great. I found my go to person Christina.
French dip with Sparkles.
I have been going to AJ Nails and Spa for years. Leann and Kevin and staff are all wonderful. I never have any problems with my nails ever. They are always flexible with appointments and get me right in. Kevin does a fantastic job with nail designs. They have great products and always updating colors. I can’t say enough Great things about them.
I moved to Port Charlotte, and will continue to travel back up to Sarasota, so I can continually receive their great service.
The lady that did my pedicure was great, however, the man that did my manicures isnt that good. He rushed the manicures while getting pedicures at the same time and the owner had to get me a pillow for my elbow because of how uncomfortable i look doing two hands on my side. Honestly it looked much better when he cleaned my cuticles. I just regret the job he has done when i went to his chair. Its just sloppy. He blamed it looked like that bc its not dip powder so i didnt want to say anything because its already past closing time and making them redo it just makes them mad. Thats why im very picky about who will do my nails. i was not impressed with the manicures when my husband asked in the car. Its a shame my husband took me to get my nails and pedi done for anniversary and birthday this weekend. I lsent my daughter to give them another tip to split with the lady bc of the inconvinient going 30 min to close which i shouldnt have to but i wanted to out of kindness. this was my actual first time doing mani pedi at this place. i was always more for the eyebrow done for me at this place but this will be the last time i will get manicure. Especially not done by him.
Been going to AJ Nails for years. Lately their products are cheap and my nails and my daughter’s nails lift. My daughter 43 had a new person other than Kevin do her nails at Leeann recommendation and this girl burnt her with the drill and cut the sides of her fingers 6 of them to bleed.
Their business has gone down hill this past year. We will never go back.
Tia was amazing. Very friendly, did a thorough job. She listened to me and provided everything I asked for. First time here and I will gladly come again and again.
