This is not a place I would recommend. I think they up charge for convenience because they are apart of the mall. My daughter wanted 2 strand twist with her natural hair, the stylist gave her a blowout. Word to the wise if every time you go in a shop there are no customers and they are doing each others or their own hair, reconsider your options.
Good evening I'm not sure about your Experience, but I took my daughters there, and Aishy Braiding House and they did a Outstanding Job. I believe an helping the community and BH Skilled Braiders that give this community a better Look.
I had a horrific experience here. This place has no customer service. They talk about their customers in their own language. The stylist who does braids by the register messed my halo up and was angry when I went back to ask for a redo. I had to drive long distant to come back. I waited an additional 40 minutes because my stylist refused to make my braid thicker. My hair still looks kinda bad. I was rushed off and out of their salon because I was unhappy with what I paid for. Please be very cautious in what hair style you choose. They have no respect for us as Americans but will take our money. I will never go back here. Hopefully this helps someone.
I walked in on the day after Easter. I came at nine. No one was there until about 9:30/945. The lady who did my hair I did not get her name Stopped to do someone else’s braids. then I saw in the mirror that she was folding, my 20 inch micro hair in half then feeding hair into it. She pulled my hair up in a ponytail when she was done. When I got home and let my hair down, I realized that the end of my real hair was very puffy almost a whole inch of my hair was hanging out of the braids, and my hair isn’t very long. I started braiding the hair down further when I realized she had poorly added micro hair to the end of her braid. I’ll take the L for not saying anything when I saw her fold that hair in half. But they will never get my business again. $ down the drain.
Best stitch straight backs i’ve ever received, price was fair at $10 per braid. They’ve earned a new customer. My only complain is the cameroon lady was a bit too harsh and used too much force until I demanded that she use less force.
So I went to get two French braids with my real hair, they treated me really bad. I have long thick hair and they made me feel like crap for it. So I was asked was one of my parents white? I was asked to cut and relax my hair, I left out of there in tears, then while the stylist was attempting to “braid” my hair she was ripping through it as if she hated my hair or better yet hate me because I have real natural hair, I am so distraught, and feel really messed up mentally. Please black women don’t spend your time or money!
I showed the lady braiding my hair a picture of what I wanted and she executed them exactly like on the picture. But the customer service is TERRIBLE! The lady doing my hair I believe her name is Coco was Extremely rough! I’m not tender headed whatsoever and the braids didn’t hurt. What hurt was her yanking my head every which way trying to part my hair. She was rough with the blow dryer and as well as combing through my hair. She slapped loads of gel on my parts and then proceeded to comb through it which hurt. In the middle of getting my braids another braider I believe which was the owner asked how I was paying and I told her with my card. Then she says “we take cash” mind you I called 3 hours before coming in and they said they took cash and card. I told her I don’t have cash I’m paying with card and then she said it would be a $5 up charge for using card lol. I came in and got 4 stitch braids. After coco completed 2 of my braids she up and went to the back for about 15 mins with no explanation. After having me wait in the chair for about 15 mins with half my head done one of the other braiders had to tell her to come back and finish my other two braids smh. She came back and then proceeded to argue with the other two braiders in the shop because she assumed that since she stepped away one of them would pick up where she left off and finish my hair. And she was also coughing over top of my head while braiding my hair!! Just nasty as hell. I’d never come back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to come to this poorly run braiding shop.
