They DO NOT DO KNOTLESS BRAIDS. THEY TOLD ME one thing and did another. Won't do anything I ask for. Yes simple old-school braids only. No actual styles. Too many braids on thin hair. Im never going back.
I've been going here off and on since 2016. Unfortunately the last few times in the last two years continues to be disappointing. The reviews are mixed because sadly there is no consistency with professional service here. It's more of a hustle than business. I paid two different prices for the same hairstyle within 6 months. The owner haggled very hard over the upcharge. The extra $20 I paid for my hair wash still left my hair smelling sour. The shampoo experience needs an upgrade with products. And the two colors I picked for French braids were terribly distributed throughout for $80. There's only one genuinely pleasant lady that I've experienced out of all the women there. Wish I knew her name, but her spirit is always warm and welcoming ???? S/O to her!!!
I went in to the shop and requested jumbo Knotless braids they did large Knotless braids which wasn’t the problem the problem is the braids are 140 which only gave length above the bra line additional length was a extra 20 dollars when I got home and was able to actually look at my hair I was so disappointed my braids are ugly the parts are all different shapes and not uniform if I wanted to wear my hair up I couldn’t because of the horrible. I call in to let them know that I didn’t like my hair and the only thing she offered was to take some of the braids out whatever that means. I will never go back to this shop again it seems like they just started doing braids and are not experienced

I have went to this shop a few years, and they do good especially owner, exceptional of 2 of them. Well every time lately I go prices go up 20 dollars within a month or 2 especially since covid. I took my son last year got his hair redread it was 70. 00 with style 90.00 . I took him February 1st I paid 120.00 redread and style. Took him back today month later same thing redread style 140 00 they couldn't decide on the price at first then the lady told the one that did my son hair . Tell her the price before you start. They also did me like that last month for my twist, today was my last day. They are ripped off, owner wasn't there. Fyi my son hair definitely wasn't worth 140.00. Very terrible business
Been coming to this shop for over 5 years and they NEVER disappoint. They know just what I want and how I want it. Always welcoming and I love this shop and recommend this braid shop to anyone????
My first time there with my daughter was great she didn’t even cry. The second time I had a 12 appointment an waited 54 minutes before being serviced. Once in a he chair the lady was upset the owner wouldn’t let her over charge me for the style. They argued about it like I wasn’t even there! The lady started my baby hair she was heavy handed and rough. Others were coming in for knotless and box braids so she was going so fast to get in on some of the big money. Even when I said it’s tooo tight she said it wasn’t! The braids were sloppy not neat like she was on a salon, I was charged $10 extra to put on beads!! She didn’t even lay her edges after styling! Going here again means I haven’t found a replacement yet! Prices are tooo high for the poor service given.
The staff is super friendly but more importantly the best Senegalese twist ever...hands down!! I get mine small and very long and they’re always neat and perfect!! Their box braids are also beat...only place I’m ever going for any type of braid style (I’ve seen so many different styles and colors done on other clients - and they do sew-ins).
