Great place for lunch. Had a FrenchDip and fries. Was very good. Service was quick and the waitress was friendly . The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing.
Hands down, best corn beef sammy I've eaten. Meet sweats + full for days = one happy customer! Cheers to great food and good times!!
Good food....They charge extra for using your card. My waitress can speak to the owner for the rest of their tip. It also needs a deep clean with NEW rags and NEW mop heads. The odor has gotten worse. One of my favorites...don't know if we'll be back.
My family and I love my experience at thus restaurant. The food was great service was great. It's clean restrooms are clean. Outdoor eating area and bar. The portion size is huge so bring your appetite. Will be returning.
Delicious and inexpensive sandwiches as big as your head. A required stop for any trip to this area of Michigan. Friendly and pleasant staff. Definitely worth your time to stop on by.
Let me start by saying you will definitely get your money's worth of food here. This place was recommended by a local who said the sandwiches are huge. Yes, the sandwiches are indeed big enough that most people likely finish. The food tasted great and the drinks were good. The place was your standard American style restaurant and bar with some outdoor seating for smokers. Everything was clean with the exception of the filthy restrooms. The service was slower than expected even though the restaurant was less than half full.
Food was only okay. Quick cheap bar food if that is what you are looking for. Very loud music playing. Floor was sticky and could have used a cleaning. Outdated, no bar menus and only served water from a bottle.
Wheat and Rye was great. Came here during the Detroit vs Buccaneers game… gave out free shots for every touchdown. Lots of TVs to watch.
More importantly food was great. Had the Macho nachos, coconut shrimp, pretzels bites, wings and onion rings - all came out hot and delicious.
Beer was a great price. Pitchers for $9 (Bud Light).
