One night stay. ???? River View room. Cost extra. Should have been nice, right? Barely livable. See pics. // Other rooms I saw were better. But the whole place is going through renovation. Can't drive up to it. Have to park at least 25 yards away and carry your bags. 3 stories. No elevator. // Get in the HI Exress right next door.
We booked this room based on reviews. Big mistake. Our room was disgusting. We had mold ceiling tiles, bathroom tub was dirty, a plastic knife under night stand to even it out, the bathroom door can’t even describe. The pictures we original saw before booking was not the rooms advertised. Would never stay there again.
I got a room with a view of the river. That was my favorite thing about the room. It really needs some updating. Some new lamp shades, a cheap desk and night stand, a little paint and it would be great with that view.
There is a cute little historical park next door.
Management was excellent and extremely helpful. I asked for a later check out and they gave it to me free of charge. There are a few nice and reasonably priced places to eat within walking distance and it's located in a nice neighborhood. I will definitely be staying here again.
The guy at the desk was nice upon check in. We stayed for a night before going to the airport the next morning for our flight. We had told front desk we needed to take the shuttle service to the airport we got it scheduled but the shuttle never showed up . The room was alright the bed wasn’t comfy , very uncomfortable to say the less but the views of the water were beautiful
My boyfriend and I went here for a quick weekend getaway and I must say this place definitely grew on me lol. My initial reaction when we got there was this place needed some serious TLC, but for the price I'd say it's really reasonable ????????♀️ The staff are pleasant, the views are AMAZING (I definitely recommend watching the sunrise or the sunset by the water) and the location is convenient to A LOT. We chose this Inn because we had tickets to pick Sunflowers @DaltonFarms .It was only a 20min drive and the total for a Fri-Sun stay was beyond reasonable so why not. Now let's talk about the room. We had the room with the two beds and maybe ours wasn't updated like the ones the pictures show but it definitely was "different" . First thing that I noticed soon as we opened the door was the dingy looking carpet. Was a bit confused because the pictures show hardware floors, but whatever maybe ours wasn't the updated one . As I go to take my shoes off the carpet is damp and that was a very icky feeling... I immediately went to Dollar Tree to get some socks because why is the carpet wet???????? besides the dirty carpet the room was sustainable. Had all the necessities for our stay. Loved the coffee maker, the fluffy pillows, and fridge!!!! This place has so much potential and is definitely worth it without breaking the bank.
I would never stay here again. American airline put me here because my flight got canceled. The room had bugs in it. The furniture had wood chipped. The floor was dusty and 1 of the lamps didn't work. The people were loud and rude at 2am. Do better
If you are looking just for a nice room without a lot of bells and whistles, this hotel will be the one for you; it is near places to Eat, a Gas Station, and 14 minutes from the Airport.
But being right on the Delaware River is nice to wake up, too.
I got in late from the airport, and the night staff was happy to get into my room and make sure I had everything I needed.
