The staff here has always been so nice! Everyone from front desk, the hygienists, and Dr. Patel will make sure you feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. Comfortable atmosphere and great location Downtown Aiken.
As someone who hasn't had the best history with dental work, I never worry coming to an appointment at Aiken Family Dentistry. The staff is always so helpful, nice and will always take the time to answers any questions or concerns we have. Definitely recommend this practice.

At Aiken Family Dentistry you're welcomed and treated as a friend. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Once checked in the wait time is very short and then your appointment all the staff members who are performing their duties are kind, professional, and knowledgeable of the task at hand.
I’ve been coming here since I moved to Aiken. The hygienists are always super nice and I usually only ever get cleanings here and exams to make sure I don’t have any issues I need to be aware of. Dr Patel had always been good to me so I’ll keep returning! The facilities are clean and relatively modern for a small dentist office. The location is quiet and aware from any large traffic so it’s almost peaceful being around here.
Aiken Family Dentistry is a great place to visit for all your oral needs very professional & the staff is all on point as well with your oral hygiene etc, super friendly & explains everything you want or need to know before leaving. I would recommend Aiken Family Dentistry to anyone that wants a better more beautiful smile.
Terribly run practice.
They are looking to make money off of people. Was told multiple times that I needed necessary equipment or services that “wouldn’t be covered by insurance” and would need to be paid out of pocket. During our very first appointment there, they told both my husband and I that we desperately needed mouthguards to sleep in at night (that would cost hundreds of $$ out of pocket) due to fine cracks in our teeth— we had never been told this by our previous dentists that we see every 6 months— so we went to a dentist down the street and miraculously no fine cracks were seen on x-ray.
Also, the receptionist is as rude and unprofessional as can be.
Go here if you are wanting to be scammed!
Edit: after reading multiple other reviews, it seems as though many people are being told the same thing about the mouthguards. This dentist is a crook!
The staff was really nice, I was a little disappointed at first because I thought that a was receiving a temp crown today, but was told not to worry all things will be taken care of. This was my first visit. If all things go well than this will be my new dentist home
