The room was good for the 4 nights we stayed. Rooms were cleaned when requested, housekeeping did a wonderful job, but rooms were a little small and snug but good. Breakfast was good, plenty of bacon to go around, fresh fruits, waffles and milk for the kiddos. The pool was closed for 2 days, our kids wanted to go swimming, we had to have another ways to keep them occupied. The TV, some channels did not work, we love watched the news in the morning and the ABC channel did not work, also the volume on the TV. (i know, i know your on vacation...why watch tv? or just go to the pool right?) but the news starts our day and the pool, usually ends our nights. The staff did a great job accommodating us for 4 days. There does seem to be new paint on the doors, so you have to make sure the door closes when leaving. It was overall good and with a $25 deposit fee. We as a family would stay again, only if they fix the tv situation. Also the parking lot was good and safe, friendly staff and other visitors. The mall is right across the street, nice restaurant nearby and the stadium is a few minutes away.
I brought a bus load of friends to the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden, Colorado. I had done this 20 times in the past thirty years ago. We actually used this location many times. Preparing for this journey, this location kept coming up as the best choice. The block of rooms was a reasonable price. We were withing walking distance from several good restaurants. The breakfast was ready at 6:30 AM, which allowed us to leave for the Shrine at 7:30 AM each morning. I was very impressed by the renovation of this motel. Everyone on the bus was satisfied with every aspect of our stay. We hope to return with a group again next year. Our only problem was maneuvering the bus around the parking lot. The manager allowed our driver to section off a place in the parking lot where he could park. I will say that the motel manager wants us to come back next year and she was very patient with me as I sorted out all the rooms. This was an amazing place to stay!!!
Grimy / dirty floors, corners and crevices all around hotel and room. My room ceiling was also splattered with God knows what, even in the low-lit room the filth was noticeable. I was expecting a cleaner facility based on the reviews. I noticed several homeless people hanging around the front grassy area when I checked in, and the overall feeling was not safe with several people hanging around in groups in the parking lots and blasting music from their cards. This felt more like a motel. The walls are thin so I did not get restful sleep with all of the commotion in other rooms including babies crying, people yelling and stomping all night. I learned my lesson going with the cheaper stay, it is safe to say I will not be staying here again.
I want to commend this hotel for their honesty and integrity.
Long story short —> I forgot and left $1500 cash laying in an envelope next to the bed when I left this morning only to come back 3 hours later to a cleaned room. Dismayed, panicking, and totally freaking out, I saw it laying on top of the counter next to the TV… untouched. All my money was still there.
I thanked the hotel staff and manager for the honesty and integrity of their cleaning crew, and left a $50 tip to be passed on to the person responsible for my room. (Thank you, amazing human, if you’re reading this.)
It says a lot about a hotel when something like this happens, so I just want to say thank you to BW/Aiden for doing the right thing.
Oh, and yes… The rooms are always clean and the service is always pleasant here. This was my second and not-last-time staying in this hotel. Especially after this incident, I will always come back here when I’m in town!
Super DIRTY and NOT SECURE.
I’ll just list this out for you…
- entry for from outside was always unlocked and never required a key card to enter, even after 11pm
- door to room did not have any trim over threshold so lots of light streamed in all night long
- sink was VERY dirty, lots of dirt in the sink
- shower had hair in it
- waist basket was not emptied in bathroom
- beds were clean and made
- bathroom floor gross
Worst stay I’ve had in a long time. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Staying at this place is a nightmare.
We booked two rooms for 3 nights while I was here for a work conference. When I arrived only one room was available which my boss was staying in. After going back and forth to the front desk (10 times) i was eventually placed in a room with 2 queens instead of the room with 1 king bed. This was fine to me because i at least had a place to sleep in. I thought the nightmare was over but it was not. The second night the room they gave to me was given to someone else. Imagine trying to open the door to your hotel room and someone else is inside…. I tried calling the manager of the hotel but of course it went straight to voicemail. Awesome management Josh you definitely put the customers first. The lady at the front desk was helpful and found me another room but i have still not recovered my stuff that was in my original room including clothes, toiletries, and chargers. This also happened to another couple who were traveling through Denver.
The breakfast is also just sugar so if you thought it couldnt get worse, it can.
Hopefully i can get all my stuff back in the morning but i would avoid this place if you can. You are only opening yourself up to a nightmare of an experience.
Rooms were fine, nothing special which is what we needed on a road trip. The water never got hot so we all took cold showers. Breakfast was okay, they had Starbucks coffee + chai machines but none of it worked so that was disappointing. Location is pretty good, next to a gas station, nice for filling up in the AM.
Lets start with blood stained sheets in the first room. Front desk upgraded room and this room also had stained sheets and a stained shower curtain. Front desk brought up new bedding but we had to changed them ourselves no house keeping working. Requested to speak with a manager but Bianca was off and was told to email her. Sent an email and requested a phone call back but she never called she had her front desk call me to offer us some points. Weeks later still no response. Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel to say at. Waiting for a response from corporate.
