My braids and parts in the back of my head were different shapes and sizes, totally different from the front of my head they also were rude and really didnt know how to make the situation right, yes they took half the back of my head down and made it smaller like the front but not the whole back i was fighting a war that i couldnt win but they wanted they money wouldnt even let me use a phone charger until i told them i had to apple pay them. They use the same water for dipping on several people before they change it, they do not use clean new towels each guest they sharing those as well, the amount of hair that they dragging through the small building is insane instead of just picking it up, no they wait til the end of the night to pick it up, they jumping from head to head not sanitizing between guest and they using the same combs that has not been sanitized but they said they have policies that they have in place im here to tell you as a licensed cosmetologist myself i will never go back and get serviced here, you can go and let them talk about you while messing your head up in the back for $250+ theres no professionalism and im sure no licensing neither. She even let me know they can cut my braids out because they get other clients all the time???????????? the audacity while doing my braids and parts ugly, trust ive got kicked out of better places❤️
I usually don’t get on here writing my reviews, but for me to come on GOOGLE, I know it had to be something..I’ve gotten my hair done here before. No problem, LOVED IT!! So I went back a second time, I got my hair braided (BOHO KNOTLESS a little past the waist length) on THURSDAY (12/12/2024) here it is 12/17/2024, I have NO BOHO HAIR IN MY HEAD.. every single piece is OUT.. I do the maintenance and they come out in bulks.literally sitting at my desk, rubbing my hair, pieces are out in BULKS.. . over the phone I was quoted $280.. which the length I got was a little extra which was no problem.. charged me $310.. scalp had BLOOD and irritated on it cus as she was parting, was DIGGING IN MY SCALP!! I reached out and the only thing I was offered was “$30 off my next visit) I had to stop replying because I was about to say something so ugly.. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!
I love my hair! They were extremely professional and got some in 3 hours! They will get you in and out, pay $220 for my hair women on the streets want $350 for my style and it's in the middle of my back.
I had 2 older women in my hair and they did the thing. I will always go to them for my braid needs it's worth the $220!
So I went in to Aicha’s shop around 8:30 and asked for the Fulani boho butt length braids , the young lady that got started on my hair , had an emergency and had to leave . When I say Rama picked up where she left off and played no games my style is everything. She did my braids exactly like I wanted them . I highly recommend this shop to get you in and out. I got done around 2 something. ????
The worst braiding experience ever. I requested a style & had a picture of the style. I would call the style Large Half Fulani with Large Half Knotless. Let me start with, I wanted 1B/30 blended and didn’t receive that but was willing to work with the hair braider. The hair braider began with the knotless braids and then moved to doing the Fulani braid and I could tell that it wasn’t how I wanted it to look. I politely asked a young lady who was receiving hair braiding services (Young Lady With The Blue & Black Braids), how did my hair look. She advised me to ask for the mirror they use to allow clients to look at their hair. I was able to see the Fulani braid looked like a little kid had played in my head. The knotless in the back had all my natural hair sticking up and I was afraid that she would cut it once she pulled out those scissors. I was asked by another worker (lady collecting money) what was wrong & I advised that my hair is not tucked and the front braid was POORLY braided. She stated they DON’T tuck hair. Then she stated that the manager would re-braid my hair at 8am the next day, then I received a text stating after her 10am appointment and never heard back from anyone. Let me add I gave the young lady who played in my hair $20 for her time & this was a nice 45 mins drive to this shop. Maybe Knotless is their specialty or all the workers who could complete my style were gone. I just want to mostly THANK the YOUNG LADY with the BLUE & BLACK braids. My hair was so bad she got into it with the staff for telling me the Truth!
I have locs with an undercut! Got me right real quick with no wait! Hand blended my color and even braided my daughter the following week!
Same day walk in! I got in a chair right away and they were done in less than 3hrs for medium knotless braids and my natural hair is mid back. I will definitely be a returning customer.
I have been going to this place for over a year now. Have always been very satisfied. Recently I went and had a different experience. Someone by the name of “Dalo” (spelling?) did my braids recently. Very nasty attitude the entire time. Could tell she got frustrated when I asked a question. I felt uncomfortable the entire time because of her negative energy. As I stated, the previous women I’ve encountered were always nice, but Dalo has left a bad taste in my mouth. Now considering not returning.
