I have been to Aicha's several times in a pinch when my hairdresser was unavailable. Twice now, they butchered my natural hair by cutting up the braid! I've asked them NOT to cut but the stylists keep cutting the loose hair instead of using gel as they braid and then using the spritz afterwards!
I am very upset and feel she cut my shoulder length hair out of spite! They use cheap shampoo (White Rain) which is not for Black hair. And they braid entirely too tight even after I explain that I'm tender headed. EVERY TIME I go there, there's always an issue with the stylist being rough with my hair. It's truly unfortunate because I want to support Black Business in my community. This last offense of butchering my hair is inexcusable and cause for legal action! Aicha needs to EDUCATE her stylists on proper hair products, braiding techniques (cutting only the ends of the extension), and customer service! If YOU choose to use them, be sure to tell them not to cut your natural hair!
I have been going for 3 years straight. I did not like my braids once but the rest of the time my braids were perfect. I think they pretty much have the American style down pat. They are always kind and I’m out of there within two hours. I like that one girl styles and the others finish the braids.
I went to Aicha’s salon to unbread, wash and blow dry my hair. My curls are naturally long and thick. After unbraiding, everything seemed fine. Until someone started to wash my hair. I have no idea what they used. Neither do they(yes, two people were washing my hair at the same time). All my hair was falling off. I asked them what exactly they used. And they show me different shampoos and conditioners. How is that supposed to work? Took them more than an hour to blow dry because the blow dryer wasn’t working. My curls are gone, my hair is now thin and I regret to have went to that salon. I can’t speak on the braiding part, as I have never got my braids there. But, certainly Do NOT do a wash and blow dry in that place. If I can give them a zero star I could.
Everyone was very polite and they did an amazing job!!! Very quick with multiple people on my head. Wasn't rough at all and wasn't aggressive with my hair! They will definitely be my go to from here on out! Prices were very good too and they provide hair! Thanks ladies!
As a braider who wanted to get my hair done instead of doing it myself I was highly disappointed and disgusted with what they did to my head. I haven’t been to Boston in 6 years and wanted to enjoy my time instead of using it to do my own hair. I called and scheduled an appointment days before, for small box braids. Upon completing my hair hair I told them that sizes were not even, and the braids were not small. In the back of my head there were large chunky braids. At first they said they were going to fix it and after 40mins all of sudden a few of them no longer speak English. The ones that did speak English were trying to convince me that the sizes were correct as I was showing them the mess they did to my head. What really pissed me off was that other braiders were walking by looking at my head, laughing and asked “who did this” but the owner was still trying to convince me the braids were small. While she is looking at my head with 15 different size braids. Terrible customer service! As a professional hair stylist I was very upset with how my hair looked. I literally walked out and went back 30mins later for them to refund me my money and cut the mess of that they had put in it. After this experience I will not be trusting anyone else to do my hair.

I would Never Again Go To this salon My First And Very last time The Salon was over packed with workers there Very rude to customer they get upset when you tell them if you don't like how there doing your hair I had one worker she was braiding my hair Very tight I told her several times she was hurting my hair she kept on braiding my sister seen how pissed off she was making me My sister had to tell her like you don't have to braid her hair that tight I would never Recommend.
Anyone to go to this Salon ????
I asked for one particular style and I got another. I had to be some where at a certain time and didn't have the time to let them take down a half way finished style. I called and they could not accommodate me or offer a salutation. My daughter got a sew in with leave out and they told me they don't cut or style and a piece is sticking up on the side.im getting hers fixed now. Never again
Dirty combs , bring your own ! slow braiders , they have 100 year old people or slow people doing the finish touches so that will set you back and Over priced but if you’re verbal and make an appointment you can request certain people so pay attention to who you want and who is slow. Your first time and don’t know people pray. And do not let these people braid your edges too tight ! The size of the singles and the amount of hair for has to be proportionate your hair has to be able to hold the braid. I do like a few girls here but they’re over priced ! And the bathroom is scary I thought a leprechaun was going to pop out
