Best WLM Reviews
I’m currently in the chair as I write this review and I have to give it five stars for the simple fact that I got here at 9am and even though I did not start until 9:30am, I am literally just a few braids before I am done and it’s 11:27am. This is the fastest I think ANYONE has ever done my hair. Mind you I am getting medium knotless. Very good job. I wanted to be out before 1pm but looks like I will be done wayyyy before that. Thank you very much Fatima. I will be back!!
This lady charged me $220 for single plaits and this included the hair and plus I gave her a $20 tip. First of all, she only accepts cash, well at least that is what I was told, it’s the inconsistency for me. However the first time she braided my hair, it was great and I received a great deal of compliments. I had my daughter to book me an appointment with her about 3 weeks later to have single plaits done. September 7th was the day, I was booked for Aicha did not braid my hair, one of her associates did, but Aicha did braid the back of my hair and did explain to me that since the back of my hair was so short, that they may come out. I should have said never mind at this point, but nevertheless I did not and had my hair completed by more than likely an unlicensed braider, paid the $240. The next day, my first braid came out of the back, I expected that since she had explained that to me, just not so soon. I took the last three rows of my hair braided them together and put a small black rubberband on the hair I braided together to try to not to loose any more plaits. The next day and everyday after that I have lost a plait and not from the back 3 rows. September 15th, I had my daughter to call her and ask her if I could come in have this fixed, so conveniently she was not working in the shop on that day. Pushing forward I was off on Thursday 09/19/2024 and it was agreed that I could come in and have this fixed at 12 pm. I arrive at the shop at 12 pm and go to enter the shop, there was someone already waiting for her outside in their car by the door and they explained to me that she had not come back yet whatever that means, so I went back to my car and waited, about 30 minutes, so then I see a man letting the customer in that was close to the door, but I never see her and so then reality kicks in after about 45 minutes after the customer was allowed to enter the establishment that Aicha had probably entered her shop through the back door and had no intentions of fixing my hair, which occurred in her place of Business and not someone’s kitchen. Aicha, I am not going to beg you to fix what you or your associate messed up. I will go further, I have already drafted a letter to the Better Business Bureau.
I went to this establishment for micro braids. The braider only braided down 2 inches and tied it off with gel. All the knots slipped and braids begin to fall out. Reached out to the owner who stated she would call me back. I allowed her time as I'm a braider myself. After a week I reached back out to see if she came up with a solution. She refuses to fix my hair and I have over 10 braids that fell out. You have to provide your own hair and still pay $250 for horrible service. I should have knew better when it only took 4 hours to finish with one person.
I receive the best experience when working with Ms. Aicha she is accurate and fast. She is always reliable and available. She is one of the best braiders I ever met. Make sure u ask for Aicha but not sure about any other works.
My co worker requested this place for me because she go there for her braids so I decided to check them out and i haven't had braids in years so my scalp is sensitive especially around the area with the little lump in my head and it's tender so with that being said the comment the mother said caught me off guard because i didn't notice i was bending my head back that far while she was braiding the tender area of my head and she mentioned that I need to sit my head up straight before I hurt my neck and is Something Wrong with you ...I told her about the tenderness part of my scalp but people need to understand that you never know what a person is going through but other than that I like the braids
I am SUPER happy with how my hair looks, Futima was VERY nice and professional! When I preferred my braids a certain way she was very graceful in her reply and we started over; which I greatly appreciate.
I only give four stars due to the salon having a 0900 opening time, and no one was in the salon. Another possible client was parked next to me, and we chatted, as she was curious about me having an appointment or being a walk-in. My appointment was for 0930, but I did not get serviced until 1030. My stylist was very accountable for this and made sure to call me and reschedule for 1000 when she knew she’d be late but I did have to wait another 30min.
If you plan to come as a walk-in or appointment make sure your schedule is clear as you may have to wait awhile as you do in ALL salons. If you are like me and have short hair you definitely want to come here. Make sure to ask for back little hair is left out as it will be tight; although not unbearable I may return to take out the hair in my nape area so it’s more comfortable.
It is not unbearable pain at all! Please come and you will be very happy! (Added photo of my natural hair for reference
I had the worse experience with this shop. I never met a shop owner so unprofessional. There is only one braider there. She opens when she wants to, and she tells you to come one time and have you waiting for hours. I spent $250 on a style that unraveled within a week and she gave me the run around to fix it, just as other customers complained of. I do not know how this shop is still open. She never told me anything was wrong with the hair I purchased. What she put myself and others through is unacceptable and I don't know how she is still in business.
I had an appointment that got canceled I was so worried trying to find a good braider when I called Fatima took me right away and did an amazing job on boho knotless will definitely return and recommend
