Had a wonderful experience for the care of my son. My nurse, Kaitlyn was kind, caring and attentive. She made sure to grab a drink that my son (who is picky) would like when taking his medicine. I offered to make him take his pills from the sink and she said no, it would be no problem to go make sure that he had a drink that he would like. My service was fast, and efficient, and I did not feel like it was an emergency room visit. The check-in and people doing my insurance were super nice as well. The doctor shook both mine and my son's hands, which I thought was very sweet. Overall would give more than 5 stars if I could.
Both Mark and Mike were absolutely AMAZING with our client, very patient and very caring. We were amazed with the amount of care given. They’re both insanely personable and were wonderful during our visit. Tom the nurse practitioner was also super friendly and quick to address the issue. We’re all very pleased to have such a great team here in our area. They all deserve recognition for how amazing they are with their community. Go here for great quality of care!!
Being a healthcare worker is hard especially when a family member needs emergent care. Today I had to take my husband to the ER because he had a mishap while working in his wood shop. I didn't' think twice I knew the best place to go was AHN Neighborhood Hospital in Greensburg . The staff were amazing and quick and so efficient. Karen at the front desk, Alyssa completing his registration, Crissy Radiology Tech was fast and very caring and amazing, Caitlyn the ER Tech was amazing getting the IV in quick because he is a very hard stick she was stellar as always with only 1 stick, Chelsea our Nurse was great too very caring and telling him everything she was doing and especially telling what medications she was giving which many nurses fail at so I appreciate that very much. Dr Sotelo was quick to look at his wounds and knew he had to get us transferred very quickly for the higher level of care we needed. Can't thank everyone there enough for their fast and efficient service.
I was recently treated for pneumonia here and can only say good I received such excellent care from the staff. With all the testing, meds and breathing treatments, I was able to be discharged the next day. I would recommend being seen here without hesitation.
After days of back and neck pain I decided (as a last resort) to go to the emergency room at AHN Hempfield. What a colossal waste of time and money. I went in explaining my situation and was treated as if I was imagining the entire thing because they looked at an x-ray. They basically said I was obviously not in much pain because I refused their pain medication. I explained that I had just taken something prior to coming to the ER just so I could get there and didn't want anything else to mask the pain until I figured out what was going on. The doctor was condescending and arrogant. I will never use this hospital again. This is not the first time my family has been treated like this there, but it will be the last.
The nurses and admins couldn’t have been nicer. This was limited to the doctor (at least I think he was a Dr)
Doctor and nurses were amazing!! And My nurse Regina… I can’t say enough good things about her!!! She was absolutely wonderful!!! She really truly cares about her patients! She was very detailed about everything she was doing. She is a wonderful person and a fantastic nurse!!!! Thank you to all the staff in the ER!! AHN is the only place I will go if I need to go to the ER!!
Great facility and additional to west side of Greensburg. Smooth process and not as busy as Westmoreland Hospital. Usually gonna be a safer bet going to this location while still receiving good care.
This afternoon I was in the ER and there were many many sick people. The staff were truly professional even when the patients were less than nice. RN Jess handled a very irate patient like a pro in the waiting room and Jenn assisted her. I was very close to forgetting my illness and come to their aid but they didn’t need it. Bridget the ED tech was truly a professional and so quick at getting thru the process. These 3 staff are more than enough reason as to why I won’t ever go back to westmoreland/independence health and I live 3 blocks from it.
