I would not recommend. I don’t feel like they know what they are doing I’ve been to plenty braid shops and this one is a no. My hair has been so itchy from either the product or the hair they use. I definitely overpaid. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is cause i was able to get my hair done since i was in that area and it did look decent.
Look no further! This is the best hair braiding salon in Georgia! Three generations of women (grandmother, mother and daughter) have been getting our hair done here (single braids, cornrows, weaves, etc) for over 7 years!
Love the owner, Ms Linda and all of her amazing braiders. They are all phenomenal. They go above and beyond during every single visit. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
Finding someone who can do a great job doing braids and can do it consistently year after year is pretty rare. That's what I found when someone recommended me to Linda many years ago. And since she has opened her own salon, it's even better because now she can tailor the whole experience end-to-end. I can't recommend Linda enough! I always go to Ahma’s for my crochet braids every few weeks and always have a positive experience. The quality of work is very good and very efficient. The pricing is fairly good for crochet braids. I’m able to make an appointment which is good because it’s not typical for hair braiding shops. I’ve also gotten braids done a few times and each time have had a positive experience!
This is actually my second time coming to this braid shop. The first time I took my sister and they did Knotless braids that were very neat and looked really nice. Today I got braids from them. and I am very satisfied! I had been having trouble with my edges thinning and my stylist Joelle did a great job with being gentle and executing a really nice style, without me having to make dramatic baby hairs lol. She worked quick and efficiently and I was out a lot sooner then I expected. I love the way these ladies work.
I've been frequenting Ahma hair braiding for at least 10 years now and I still love going there, customer service is great. Although knotless is my favorite, i have gotten box braids, braids and twists. The owner Linda is very attentive and ensures that the product quality is top tier. I am tender-headed and at times particular and she always communicates my preferences to the braiders. The braiders are professional and show me one braid before they move forward and frequently check that i am okay. I will keep going to this salon as long as I live in the Atlanta area!
The best salon hands down. I’ve never been disappointed. The only salon I’ve used for braids since 2013. Very professional and the staff is amazing.
1st I did a walk in on Saturday and she was able to start on my head within 30 mins!!! I got a discount at the hair store next door which was a plus as well. This was an excellent experience. My hair was finished within 3 1/2 to 4 hours. I just recently cut my hair, so it is extremely short and she was able to recommend a style that would work for me. Plus, the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend.
