This is a great place. The staff was som friendly from the moment I walked in through the moment I checked out. It smelled delightful in the lobby. No weird hotel smells. I loved that there were no resort fees or parking fees and we also got a free breakfast every morning. The room was so clean, and the beds were comfortable I loved that our room had 2 lighted wardrobes to keep our clothes in for the stay.
Even the parking garage was clean. No over flowing garbage cans or litter laying around.
No casino noise or odor!
When I say the whole staff was friendly I mean EVERYONE! Even the security guards were friendly and approached me to see if I need help with anything.
I have stayed at several upscale hotels on the strip. I have never stayed at the same hotel twice. That changes now. The Ahern is my go to from here on!
Overall a great stay. The room was super spacious, the location was good for me (easy enough walk during the day to the arts district and Fremont street - I’m active, otherwise maybe it would’ve been good to Uber)||Anyway, only complaint was the alarm clock in the room went off at 1am, which I didn’t set. I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off (before anyone says anything, I know how to work alarm clocks and my husband still uses one) so I ended up having to unplug it. Everything else was great.||Bonus points for no resort fees!
This is my first time staying here, and the experience was great! They gave out free breakfast vouchers for 2 for each night you stayed, and the food was exquisite! They have a childrens food menu that costs only $4.99 for breakfast selections and lunch selections. This is something you can't find nowadays. Their choice of music was the best also. Will be back here for sure! It's worth the money big time! Lastly the hotel is a no smoking hotel which is quite nice as well.
The place was great for a non casino hotel. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful. They offered a free comedy show and breakfast. Comics were mediocre but the breakfast was good. It was in an interesting location. Right next door to the world’s largest gift shop. The prices were reasonable especially considering it was a Friday night. Then again it’s not one of the big name hotels as far as Vegas goes. Still no complaints other than no coffee maker in the room and the bed was really firm.
We spent one night here on the first leg of a road trip. Our room was clean and spacious, with plenty of amenities for us to use. The staff were very nice and had us in our room right away.
The only minor drawback was the free breakfast that was included in our booking was super limited, only three options and no drinks included (literally only water). The food and service was good though so just a heads up.
I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is very well maintained and even though they were remodeling the second floor skybridge while we were staying, the crew working on it was very professional and kind and it didn't disrupt our stay at all. There is a parking garage which is free and easy to get to. The room was tidy and modern with a huge mini fridge. Pool is open late which is nice, they have a bar in the lobby and nice restaurants connected to the hotel. I loved how quiet and modest this place is in a city of noise and chaos. The ladies at the front desk were all pretty kind and helpful. Free breakfast at the nice restaurant was included. The only thing I didn't care for was the red tint to the windows looking out at the city, but oh well I love this place. There is also a deposit due at check in like most hotels in the area, ours was $300 for 3 nights. Such a great place to stay and not even expensive!
Stayed here for 2 nights Oct 2024. 9.4 rating at expedia made me try this hotel. Definitely worth the $150 I paid for 2 nights. Huge room, very clean, free breakfast, |5-10mins walk to monorail(Sahara), no resort fees. Value for money. Unfortunately couldn’t give 5 stars cause housekeeping did not refresh my room. Hopefully it’s an isolated case.
I stayed the night here for a much needed weekend getaway. I was pleased with the room and it was very clean and nice. All of the staff super kind as well. A stand out was the bar tender Charles. Handsome man who had extremely genuine energy and made my night that much more enjoyable.
I will definitely be coming back!!
