I visit Dr.Hoch. You wait. Everone does. But I asure you its worth the while. Hes one of a kind. Best Dr.Ive known. His age is experience. I grateful I found him. It's clean and beautiful.
Great network of excellent professional specialists. Also, when lab work is needed, Tabatha knows exactly what to do to not bruise your veins not make the process painful. I would definitely recommend Ahava.
I have been seeing Dr. Kantor (endocrinologist at ahava) for about a year now. It was working for a while, but he is clearly either over-worked and spread too thin, or he does not care for his patients.
The doctor works only on Tuesdays, and only occasional Tuesdays. He does not check emails or phone messages. Because of this he did not see that my prescription needed to be filled.
I called every week for 2 months begging the nurse at the desk to get in contact with him, which clearly was not working. After a month, I decided that it was time to bite the bullet and schedule an appointment.
At that appointment, he called in my prescription, but neglected to call my insurance for an authorization. He had also set an appointment with me for the following week to go over some blood work he had me do. I figured I would speak to him at our appointment about the issue with my insurance.
A week goes by, and the doctor is not calling me at my scheduled time. I knew about his lack of reliability, so I called him myself. I called the office about 3 times, no answer. Another week goes by so I call again, and he's not in this tuesday.
At this point, it's been almost three months without my prescription. My body is in revolt, and I can physically feel the effects of the medication fading away. I had been on this medicine for over a year and finally was starting to see results, but not anymore. I will not be seeing this doctor again and I strongly advise you against it.
The facility itself is fairly nice and clean and newly updated. The administrative staff and nurses have all been kind in my experience. It is just this doctor that really has ruined it for me.
I had a great experience at Ahava Medical. The staff is friendly and courteous. the waiting room is large with plenty of seating. The most important thing for me was that when I call to make an appointment I can get one for the next day.
Dental department is a total wreck, I am very discouraged!!
Dr. K. was very nasty after being his loyal patient for close to 4 years… (they are extremely overbooked - I had waited 3 months for an appt and I especially booked 2 appts in case I need work but Dr. K. didn’t want to accommodate me and sent me to the other dentist Dr. E. which did a horrible job on my teeth. (Was at a different dentist to put on a crown that dentists took X-rays and tells me that the fillings are done terribly and has decay which he sees visually without an X-ray I need to redo those fillings ???? and not to mention that I had done 2 crowns by Dr. K. And both the teeth got an infection needed to pull them with bone grafting now I need 2 implants!!!
Before going to this place inquire within!!!
If you or a loved one are suffering from a mental health issue do not under any circumstances utilize this service, either with telehealth services, or in person visits.
My wife was using this location Ahava medical with Dr. Walton for telehealth treatment. The last my wife had spoken to the doctor was mid July. She needed to contact the doctor for a change in medication as it was not working for her. The doctor refused to pick up the phone for her for weeks, and as of this review, STILL has not called her back.
I took it upon myself to call this morning starting at opening hour to speak with a receptionist / call taker that refused to provide me with her name so that I may further reference my inquiries later to a supervisor. Each of my calls I asked for a supervisor, director, head doctor, ANYTHING. I was sent to the same voice mail inbox 10 times and took it upon myself to try other extensions within the directory to attempt to speak to anyone. Not a SINGLE person beyond the one receptionist (who refused to identity herself in any way shape or form, saying 'I dont have to tell you who I am, I only have to make appointments'.) I went to voicemail, after voice mail after voice mail, until finally after my twentieth call, I was transferred to an administrative person only identified as 'Israel.' Israel only wanted to speak over me while I was attempting to answer his questions about the blatant failures of the organization.
On top of all this, I was also billed for telehealth conversations that were not had by my wife with her doctor, both of which my insurance paid for despite my protest. I have filed for several grievances with my insurance company over the absolute travesty of a failure Ahava-Medical is. I would encourage you to take your self, or your loved one elsewhere to get the attention and care they deserve, because they will not find it here.
TL;DR: Wife ignored by doctor for 2 months. Staff unhelpful and unwilling. Do not send your loved ones to this facility.
Ahava Medical is very clean, the staff is helpful & knowledgeable. They are all very nice & respectful. I would definitely recommend a visit. They are a medical multi-practice facility, a lot of specialities in one place is amazing.
I have to let everyone know how Dr Trosterman saw me on a second appointment for a Pain I have been dealing with since June after getting Shingles but the pain I suffered after I got cured was EXTREMELY PAINFUL NEVER HAD I ENCOUNTERED WITH EXCRUCIATING PAIN WENT TO MORE THAN SIX DIFFERENT DRS AND DIFFERENT TREATMENT UNTIL I VISITED AHAVAS PAIN MANAGEMENT FIRST DR.SARDAR WITH DR.TROSTERMAN BOTH GAVE VARIOUS TREATMENTS THAT I IMMEDIATELY STARTED FEELING BETTER BUT THIS FRIDAY NOV 22 DR TROSTERMAN AGAIN GAVE VARIOUS TREATMENT THAT THE PAIN FELT LESS ,AND THEY ALSO MAKE SURE THE MEDICINE THEY PRESCRIBE YOU IS WHAT YOU REALLY NEED AND IF IT DOESNT HELP IN EASING THE PAIN THEY GIVE YOU OTHER OPTIONS FOR YOUR BENEFIT IN HEALING !!!
