Best WLM Reviews

I ate here around 5 PM since there aren’t many Indian restaurants open at that time. We ordered 4 biryanis, but unfortunately, we found 2 stones in the food. When we brought it to the server’s attention, there was no response or apology, which was very disappointing. There was no basic concern from their side.
I mean, come on, we’re paying for what you’re serving. We wanted everyone to know about this experience. We didn’t expect this kind of response from the restaurant.
Food tastes a little spicy to me but many others may love the spicy flavors. Overall more unique buffet dishes compared to other Indian buffets. The goat biriyani rice is delicious so much that I didn’t eat much to feel satisfied. Fish curry is also unique and flavorful
$22 lunch is comparable to other AYCE lunch prices though I wish the price can be slightly lower. Swagert has permanently closed.
Late-night visit to Aha revealed slow service due to understaffing. Appetizers lacked visual distinction and flavor, making them hard to recommend. Main courses were decent, with Kadhai Paneer and Nawabi Goat Fry Biryani shining. Also, Paneer Butter Masala has succulent chunks of paneer, making it appealing. The Butter Naan, though decent, suffered from a sparing application of butter. Despite mixed reviews, the biryani stood out, making a return visit solely for it a possibility.
Mushroom Pepper fry- 1/5
Gobhi munchurian- 2/5
Paneer butter masala- 3/5
Kadhai Paneer- 3.5/5
Butter Naan- 3/5
Nawabi goat fry biryani- 3.5/5
South Indian tiffins like ghare, chitti punugulu are too oil and dried out. Plain dosa and masala rava dosa is very hard like a papad. Chutney is too salty. Waste of money
Had a late night dinner at Aha!!
The main course was slightly better as compared to the appetizers. Paneer butter masala was flavorful and the kadhai paneer was delicious. Paneer pieces were super fresh.
Can do a better job at appetizers, did not like the Gobi Manchurian and Mushroom fry.
Overall 3 for the food and an extra half for late night service.
Main course -4/5
Appetizer- 2/5
I am in the restaurant right now and its 1:55pm. I have been here for last 20min. They are not filling anything(both veg/non-veg). The chicken biriyani doesn’t have chicken. Most of the appetizers trays are empty. The taste is subpar anyways. Even other vegetarian customers are complaining about not even having veg items! The lady even argued that I took twice tandoori chicken that’s why it is empty. They lie as well!
Worst buffet experience ever.
Edit(after owners response): I am amazed by the owners argumentative behavior and blaming a customer for their pathetic service. Once he learned I had already posted the review, he suddenly became so rude and told me leave the restaurant! I never expected this from an indian restaurant and threatening in public forum to invade privacy. If you expect your customers to have only 2/3 items in a buffet after requesting so many times, don’t run a buffet.
FYI: I went to another restaurant and at lunch after that because of your pathetic service. The later photos are proof of that.
The breakfast buffet available on weekends is fabulous. It is available from 8 to 11.30 AM.
Affordable pricing at 11.99$ and a very decent spread of items. I liked the ragi sankati with chicken curry dish specially which is a south Indian variety that isn't available everywhere. The ambience is pretty good and the parking space is decent.
One of the best breakfast buffet near San Jose. They included almost every south indian breakfast dish with authentic flavor and right spice level.
Ragi sangati with natu kodi pulusu is add-on on top of everything. Natu kodi pulusu is delicious with poori and dosa too. Finished well with dessert and fruits.
