Best WLM Reviews

This place turns into something else after a certain time. The food was mediocre the drinks were good. 1st time here and didn't know what to expect. I believe if it turns into an adult atmosphere no kids should be allowed in after a certain time. Seeing young kids there where things turned into a "club" in a sense was completely inappropriate and the owners shouldn't allowed. I gave it 2 stars because the drink were the best part of the menu.
the drinks were amazing me and friends had there rainbow shots and we had a wonderful time!! The service was so nice especially the waitress winky she was so nice, sweet and accommodated us well! ❤️
It took 40+ minutes for my 9 tacos to arrive without any of the normal dressings on them. I asked the waitress to call the manager Fernando over. I asked him if he thought this presentation was acceptable. He immediately tried to blame the waitress for this mistake after she told him I wanted everything on my tacos. I told him, "No, it is the cook's fault." The food took almost an hour to come on and it was dry. I had to build my own dry tacos.
Based on the conversations I had with the manager, I think he made need more management training. The things he said and did in front of customers was not becoming of a manager. I initially thought this place had recently opened but was informed that it had been open 2.5 years. They should have worked the kinks out by now. I will not return for more bad food and long wait.
Bottom line: I wouldn’t recommend this place. There’s a language barrier that creates a lot of miscommunication. For the type of cuisine, the menu was limited and unimpressive. The flight was sweet and lacked flavor. My rice and beans were over cooked. The made to order guacamole was swampy. The Hennessy margarita was laughable at $20 for one shot. The utensils and drinkware were very old worn. The prices are entirely too high for the offering. I don’t think I’ll be back here.
If I could give zero stars I would! I went to agavos on a Saturday night (11/16/24) and I was asked before seating to give up my ID & bank card with matching names so me thinking okay I know how ppl dine and dash so I had no problem with it! Mind you before my order was brought out I wanted to go ahead and pay so I wouldn’t have to when I got up to leave. We had some drinks so my mind slipped on asking my waiter for my cards back so I left. But my waiter wasn’t drinking so she should have gave me my stuff back right?? Right. Today is Tuesday (11/19/24) I arrived at 12pm everyone spoke good english until I started getting an attitude because they refused to look for my cards and was giving me the run around. So I started getting loud asking where is my cards!? They brought out two large stacks of ppl IDs, DLs & debit cards and for mine to be with them 3 days why the hell is mine not in the stack!? Why the waiter didn’t turn it in? I sat up there asking for them to call their boss because they said they couldn’t get into the register which was also weird cause why would yall have only my cards in the register but not the other cards??? So I called the police because & for some reason no one spoke English anymore! When the police arrived two hours later they went through the stack and asked why were so many ppl cards left there and not even returned to the mail carrier to get their cards and stuff back to the owners & they had no answer! Mind you they were back speaking English now. So the police said I may have to report my card stolen and we went outside to get a report # why the lady come running out with my cards saying “oh it was in the back” but she claimed she looked everywhere!?? I was up there almost 3 hours! Then she said no need for a report but the police told me to still get a report made cause that didn’t make any sense! Out of all those cards mine was the only one with an actual matching REAL BANK card and ID I believe they tried to scam me or something & when the cops got involved they got scared. I will never go there again!
Place is a dive but it’s great. The margaritas alone are worth coming for. Food was good, service ho hum. What’s with adding the gratuity to a party of two’s check? If you hadn’t you would have gotten 20%. Makes you look cheap.
The food stayed hot. The stars are for the chef and the bartender. I had shrimp tacos, and my partner had a chicken burrito.(her rice was cold) The service wasn't good, and the restaurant had flies everywhere. Also I had to clean the table with my Clorox wipes because it was filthy. The seats had chips all through the crevices. I just feel like if you're gonna be open during a pandemic, cleanliness should be a TOP priority. Also, I am a tourist so I knew nothing abt the receipt being needed to get out. I tried to explain to the security guard that I had put my receipt on the plate that was picked up, and that I was from out of state and honestly didn't know. He was so nasty and rude. My waitress literally stopped in the middle of her taking an order to talk to him. I really appreciated that from her. Idk if I'll visit here again.
New find! This was my 1st visit and it was amazing. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The prices are reasonable and they have a Vegan Menu. The Talipia Fish Tacos on corn tortillas had seasoned crispy fried fish with fresh toppings of lettuce, cheese, and sauce. Real jalapeno cheese popers that brought the spicy heat. ???? The best dish that was like being in adapted sister's kitchen was the Shrimp with Tequila Lime Sauce with rice and mixed steamed vegetables. The Traditional Mexican desert was the best tasting desert that will take you to the panaderia. ???? This is the best place to visit for homemade style Mexican foods.
