We are babysitting the grand children (lots of fun!) and after feeding them dinner, I went out to get dinner for my wife and I. What a find! Friendly hostess and manager, I had a seat at the bar and ordered to go. The bartender made me a margarita while I waited. She was very friendly. The order came quick despite being a Friday at 6pm! Nice experience and will be back. Looks also like no problem if we would have taken the kids.
Very enjoyable dinner, the place has lots of decor to look at while you wait for your food, tvs, nice bar and the service was fantastic for us. We enjoyed our food, and will be back. Get the large queso as we were scraping the bottom of it fighting over the last of it. We will be back for sure
Friendly staff, good food, and good drinks. Ordered the street tacos with a side of rice and beans, the side portion-size was very generous and the tacos were well-loaded. The flavor was authentic and tasted awesome. Would recommend ????

I enjoyed the seafood chimichanga. Hubby had Salmon and vegetables and our daughter had pizza and fries. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Will be back! Very satisfied.
We just tried this yesterday, and it was pretty good. The service was amazing, though, very welcoming and super nice. Chips and dip were ok. I wasn't a fan of the salsa idk what it was, but for me, it was too sweet and tasted like spaghetti sauce. Guacamole was very good though. We got the sampler appetizer and it was huge!!! We didn't expect it to be that big lol but it was delicious. It came with chicken taquitos, cheese Quesadilla, and nachos. Seriously, it's a meal to share, and you'll be full after that. But we each still got a meal which I forgot to get a picture of, but I got the chicken milanese with rice and guacamole. Chicken was very tender, seasoned well, and huge! My boyfriend got a huge burrito, which he finished and liked also. The inside is very nice too, clean and decorated pretty. Would love to try it again.
The atmosphere is very nice and outdoor seating is available with some very pretty, although not entirely practical, wrought iron furniture. The inside seating and decor is also very nice. The service was average. The portions were a good amount. It was the flavor (or lack thereof) that left me hanging. No spice to anything. Very bland. The chicken enchiladas (Trios Enchiladas on the menu) tasted like....chicken. My wife had seafood nachos and felt the same. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't seek it out.
Agaves Cantina is becoming our favorite place for Mexican!!! In the past month we’ve gone at least 3 times! One thing to keep in mind is when ordering queso cheese for the chips it’s not quite a shareable serving. If you and your family like Queso Cheese order the Queso Fundido with beef or Chorizo. It’s a bigger shareable serving. The dishes themselves are large in portions. My go to at every Mexican restaurant is Steak Mexicano and Agaves delivers in size and flavor.
One visit I got the nachos with steak, wow, it was so good. My son really likes the fish tacos, fried over the grilled. He’s tried them both ways. Overall the place is nice and the service is outstanding.
Drive past this place a bunch of times on my way to work and was finally in the area at lunch time. If you like shrimp, get the Cancun Salad! Like a shrimp fajita on wonderful greens with your choice of dressing! So good! The portions here are big and the prices are very reasonable! Wait staff was excellent! Not sure, but it feels family owned and operated. You're in for a treat!
