Such a fun dinner place. Great vibe, friendly staff - definitely busy so reservations very helpful. All the foods the adults ordered was spectacular. For me the reg size taco was enough. Most others got the 3 minis and they had a hard time finishing it. Blackberry margaritas: delicious. The only 3 stars food was the kids chicken tenders. They were way over cooked and kids are picky to start with so they basically just had the fries.
I love tacos especially fish tacos. I ordered the wave rider flight, I had super high expectations and the concept met my expectations, disappointingly, the flavor did not. The salmon needed seasoning before it was fried. Really easy fix, some salt and pepper with a tad bit of garlic powder. I also ordered the jalapeño pineapple margarita, very good.
I went at 1ish today. I was greeted and seated right away. The staff were clean and professional. The customer service was outstanding today! I ordered the Kangaroo taco, expecting everything in the description, including the Mac and cheese. However, this is more of a Mac and cheese taco with a little bit of Kangaroo meat, but everything else was perfect. I gave the manager my feedback, and she took the taco off my tab and let me take home another of my choosing. I would recommend this location to others! Also, the second taco in the picture was the Love Child, and it was really good with normal chicken portions - I'd buy it again.
Without a doubt the most unique selection of tacos I’ve ever seen so far! Food is ???? and the atmosphere of the whole place is vibe. We had a group of like 25+ and the servers killed it also.
This place has a pretty interesting menu of, I'll call them "rebellious" tacos. They have some that stick to Tex-Max flavors, but most have over-the-top ingredient combos that lead towards Asian, Island, and Southern cuisines. These tacos are massive, so the price for a single taco is kind of justified. Two tacos is plenty! I went with The Grogu and The Ya Mon. Both were very solid; they do a really good job of making flavor/texture combos pop, and they are not stingy at all. I didn't explore drinks or other menu items, but they have a full bar and a lively atmosphere. Service was a little sub-par when I went. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon, not very crowded, but we waited a veeery long time to get checked on and to get our check when we were ready to go. Overall, it's a good place that clearly has a lot of fans, and I wouldn't deter anybody from going.
Delicious food, superb service and awesome atmosphere!! I can't wait to go back!! This was our 1st time and it was an epic experience! Zac was our server and he was amazing!! Explained the menu and was very attentive!! Epic service is something my husband and I hope for every time we dine out. It makes everything so much better! The tacos were huge!! And absolutely delicious! The decor is very interesting! Can't wait to bring our kids in to experience Agave and Rye in person! Definitely my new favorite place!!
If we’re just talking about the food, it was pretty mid. The chips were cold. Tacos were alright, not worth 8-9 per or whatever you pay. Tortillas tasted store bought. My carnitas taco was 90% rice with a top *layer* of meat. We went on taco Tuesday, and it was still on the high end $ of Mexican dining. I would not visit on a day without a significant deal.
That being said, the service was great. Logan was polite & professional, and did an outstanding job despite it being a busy night.
I didn't know what to expect from here, I'm a picky eater and wanted to try something a little different. This place was perfect, the atmosphere is amazing it's art everywhere it's beautiful, my server was amazing!!!! I told her it was my first time she welcomed me and explained the menu and answered all my questions. The food was amazing I forgot the names of my food but they were good. I highly recommend this place, the parking may be a little hard, but it's worth it!!!
