Great atmosphere with a selection of tasty and unique food offerings.
This place is dead center when Ironman Chattanooga comes to town - so we stopped by and managed to get a seat before all the triathletes stormed in.
The food is really tasty and has some unique flavors you generally don't see at normal taco spots, but portions are somewhat small for the price. So pick up an app and you should be good if you're hungry.
If you’re looking for incredible tacos, this place delivers some of the best I’ve ever had. The combination of flavors is fantastic, each bite a delightful experience for your taste buds. The server was friendly and attentive, but do be prepared for a bit of a wait—good things take time! The Birria quesadillas are a must-try and highly recommended. Overall, it’s definitely a spot I’ll be returning to.
This is a great taco place to check out in Chattanooga! I had the mini taco flight which was great for the price and the amount of food. It also allowed you to try more of their delicious tacos! I like the soft and hard shell combo with the tacos. The staff were super friendly and helpful with explaining the menu and what was good. Sat outside so didn’t get to see much of the interior but can imagine it’s great for happy hour too.
Edit for second trip: still great ambience, great staff and great food. Whiskey didn't have any floating friends in it either!
Food, ambience and staff were great; especially with the endurance race in town. However, I ordered a whiskey neat and had to send it back due to quite a few things floating in my glass of whiskey. When it came back a second time it still had some friends floating in it, albeit less than the first glass. Will still absolutely be returning to the restaurant to try it again and hopefully update to 5 stars.
If you’re looking for a place that has it all: eccentrically interesting atmosphere, refreshingly creative food, and exceptional service at a great price- this is IT! I’ve never been so excited about tacos until reading the colorfully unique combinations showcased on their menu. The mini taco flight was the perfect way to experience a little bit of their list o’ tacos. And at $13.50 you can’t beat it!

This was such a fun spot! The art and decor is eclectic and very colorful. Our server, Lauren, was very sweet and helpful. The margarita list has something for everyone and they obviously have plenty of taco options. The birria grilled tacos were exceptional! We would definitely come back for more!
This was our first time at Agave & Rye. When we were planning our trip to Chattanooga, I found them. After seeing their taco list I've been excited all week to try them out and not that we're here we were not disappointed. The corn fritters were amazing, all the tacos were amazing and our waiter was perfect..
I can’t rave enough!! The staff was wonderful & friendly, the food was delicious & totally took me by surprise. 10/10 recommend and we will be back many times! Check them out!
Also, food is farm to table. Healthy options with fresh ingredients, can’t beat that!!
