The food was amazing! The service was great from the bartender! He was so friendly and nice! We sat at the bar as the tables were full. Definitely recommend reservations as not much table seating! Margaritas were awesome! Recommend having dinner here!
Absolutely the best Mexican food on the Outer Banks! Great flavor and plenty of food! Highly recommend and will certainly go back during the summer to enjoy their outdoor patio.
Right when we walked in we were waited on and told 5 minute wait for a table. Then bartender starts talking to us making us feel welcomed while we waited. The wife the flautas which were excellent. I got the shrimp tacos. Really liked them. Would have loved them if they came with cilantro versus lettuce. Oh and I added the pickled onions from my wife’s flautas and they were awesome! Great service and food here!
My boyfriend and I are visiting. We wanted to have a nice date night with good food. The person that sat us down was very rude. She told us we only had an option to sit at the bar or outside when there was plenty of space outside of these options. If you’re looking for authenticity, this is not the place. The salsa had plastic pieces in it. The chicken enchiladas tasted sweet. My boyfriend ate steak (shredded only option)which were good. It’s just not what I was expecting after looking at the online photos.
Food was very good. Not the absolute best, but very good. Portions were big and the drinks were great. Our server Ramiro was absolutely awesome. Took care of us like a 5 star restaurant would. Drinks never empty, food recommendations and speedy service!!! I recommend the restaurant but I HIGHLY recommend Ramiro!!!

From the moment we were seated, Ramiro's excellent service stood out. He was incredibly kind, making us feel welcome and attended to throughout our meal. His attentiveness was matched by his efficiency; our orders were taken and delivered promptly, without any mistakes.
Ramiro's ability to balance friendliness with professionalism added a special touch to our dining experience. He anticipated our needs and provided thoughtful recommendations from the menu, enhancing our overall enjoyment. It's rare to find such a combination of speed and quality in service, and Ramiro exemplified this perfectly.
Overall, Ramiro significantly contributed to a memorable dining experience with his exceptional service. We will certainly be returning, and we hope to be served by him again.
The food was savory.
I loved the queso dip with chorizo and the refreshing and delicious margaritas (watermelon is a must try).

Efficient service
Just go. Went on the recommendation of a good friend back home who is pretty particular and loves Mexican food. We went with a group of 13 and across-the-board it was a thumbs up. All the entrées were devoured along with some very tasty guacamole and chips and salsa. Special tea drinks were very good and our service with Ramiro was excellent.
