This is my favorite restaurant to walk to in Wendell!! Satisfies all my Mexican food cravings!! They have a full bar, you can easily get food to go, they have boots so its easy for kids to be contained. Don't be mad if they are understaffed because everywhere is today and yall need to show a little grace. Excited for my next trip here!
Good place to enjoy with loved ones, friends and dates. Great atmosphere.
Plenty of parking. It's located in downtown Wendell. I ordered the fajita taco salad with chicken, it didn't have much chicken maybe 4 small pieces. However, the food was good.
Well, a "Last Ditch Effort" to find this restarting acceptable for something other than shelter in a storm, and boy did they blow it!
It's one thing to offer poor service, a bar that is fundamentally unable to fulfill its core purpose, and a queso so watered down and thin has dissolved into a watery lackluster reality. But to send a server to the table who literally cannot even take a simple food order is about as bad as it could possibly get.
Fortunately there is a new gastro pub opening next door that will be offering a much better option than this, cheers!
Just moved to the area from Ohio and wanted some Mexican food on this cold, snowy, winter day! Walked in and we were greeted immediately. The place is clean and welcoming! We chose to sit at the bar, Daniel was extremely helpful with our margaritas (we aren’t big margarita drinkers) so he made them to our liking - DELICIOUS. The salsa is incredible. Everything was made quick and came out hot and fresh. I got the Burrito Real and my fiancé got the steak grilled tacos with corn tortillas. Just as delicious! We hung out for a bit, took a shot of Avion tequila, and left full and happy! Highly recommend!
The food was good and most of the staff was good as well. The boy who seated us and ran food would not smile for anything and wouldn't respond when we spoke to him. Thats the only downside.
The waitress shared that they were short staffed (~25 min after we ordered), but that seems to be just their normal staffing situation. I still counted 8+ employees while we were there. Food took 1 hour from ordering to come out but it was nice and hot. The steak in my burrito was burned but the other meals looked great.
Hopefully it was just an off night but for the price I would skip this place.
Food was great and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond for us. We will be back many more times for sure.
Great place! My husband and I stopped in for a few minutes for some beers. The owner, José Luis was extremely welcoming. The chips, salsa, and cheese dip were delicious. Definitely returning to this authentic Mexican restaurant.
