This place is AMAZING. The service, atmosphere, and food were the best ever. My sister and I celebrated our birthdays with friends here and we had a great time. If you are in the area you have to come and check Agave Maria out.
This place is gorgeous. But the reason for the 2 star rating is as follows: first my cousin and I were greeted at the door and asked if we wanted to sit indoor or the rooftop. When we choose indoor, she said that it’s closed and only the rooftop is open. Makes no sense to mention both if one is closed. Second, we were there during happy hour, as shown on the chalkboard at the entrance. Happy hour 4-7pm is all it says. So we got 3 margs on the rocks and when the bill came, we were charged full price. We asked our server and he said that the rooftop only has happy hour on Thursdays and Saturdays and the rest of the days are indoor for happy hour. Makes no sense since the rest of the floors were closed and only the rooftop was open. He said that management had a meeting this past Monday (08/26/24) about and changed it. If it’s true, it should’ve been changed everywhere.
Now when leaving, I asked the hostess about happy hour in the rooftop and she said yes. So when I told her the waiter said no and it was only certain days a week, she didn’t know what to say and said the indoor happy hour is every weekday and doesn’t know about the rooftop, after saying that it does have happy hour. This was a ridiculous inconvenience that couldn’t be resolved and we just paid for our bill and left. Most likely won’t be coming back.
Celebrated my friends birthday party. John the manager, two waitresses and bartender were extremely great and attentive. They made the experience worthwhile a must go.
Great place for a date or a group of friends. I’ve been to Agave a few times and everything I’ve eaten here is delicious from the apps, to the tacos, to the mains. The drinks are also amazing and the vibes are perfect. I’ve also always had great service. The staff is so nice and accommodating. The space is also beautiful with 3 huge floors including a rooftop deck. The second floor looks like a great space for private parties-it has a cool speakeasy feel.
One of my close friends took me here for my birthday and I enjoyed myself. We sat on the rooftop, and it was an awesome experience with some great music.
I recently past by to get some drink with my boyfriend due my birthday at Maria Agape for the first time , and I must say, it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. However, the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the exceptional service we received from Julie.
When my boyfriend informed Julie that it was my birthday, she went above and beyond to make the occasion feel special. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made all the difference. She greeted us with the biggest smile and took the time to chat with us, making us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.
Julie surprised me with a lovely birthday treat, and her thoughtful gestures truly made the evening unforgettable. It felt like she was celebrating with us, which added an extra layer of joy to our experience. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect for a birthday celebration.
Overall, I can't recommend Maria Agape enough, especially if you have the chance to be served by Julie. Thank you for making my birthday so special and for the wonderful memories! I can't wait to return!
The interior is beautiful, we stayed to eat on the first floor. The top floor has louder music. At the time i went we were only able to order from the brunch menu. There were not many options for both food and white wine. The meal was 3/5, not bad but ive had better. I went on a sunday and it wasnt busy but the servers were not very attentive. We waited very long for the check.
What an amazing location!
We celebrated a birthday and sergeant first class promotion with a group of 13 and the service was amazing ! The waitress was super attentive to every person in our party ! The DJ was an entire vibe he played amazing music ! A great mix of all genres exempt ghetto gangster rap which we LOVED !! I recommend this locations 10x !!
