Jalisco is just one of the restaurants that make you glad. Great food, great service, and amazing prices. Sometimes I'm just blown away at how good this place is with prices as low as they are. It just goes to show that a restaurant does not have to gouge it's customers to offer good food and service. I don't know how they do it, but what what ever their secret is, I wish a lot of other restaurants would learn from them.
I hate leaving negative reviews..but gotta save some of you from disappointment...we arrived right before Sunday's lunch hour. We were greeted by friendly staff but after ordering it went down hill from there.. we ordered basic breakfast and then sat and waited for over 40 mins for basic eggs and beans.. The restaurant wasn't full by any means.. When the food arrived it was bland and simply had no flavor. We had to send the food back for serving us the wrong order. We wanted to give this place a chance but it was a disappointment. I highly suggest saving your time and money and going somewhere else..
We have a lot of Mexican joints under our belt....200+ and this did us a solid....Service was good, food was delicious....but the beans did us wrong....just weren't that good....everything else wasn't bad at all.
2024 we're back in Corpus on a fishing trip. After catching monster fish, we were looking for Mexican restaurant for dinner and drinks. We came back to Agave Jalisco for dinner. Again great food and family gatherings. The music keeps you in festive mood. Our server Miguel was very attentive with all our service. He also made a great Margarita! Our dinner was great! I recommend and Enjoy;))
2023 We stopped in at Agave for breakfast while vacationing in Corpus. I was a little apprehensive at first because not many customer cars in the parking lot. But we went in anyway. Our waitress came over and told our orders and brought us our coffee. It was a great cup of coffee! Our menudo was very good. We kept the menu during our breakfast to read their lunch and dinner. They have a great full Mexican and seafood lunch and dinner. The restaurant was very clean and looks new. They're easily found on Staples St. off Hwy 358.

I gave this a 2 star and thats because the portions were big and the tortillas that we got on the side were tasty, along with honesty from our server, other than that the rest of our meal was not that great. The nachos wernt brought till about when everyone was done eating and was not worth the wait (it was a meal for one of us) and when they finally brought the food out the reason that was given to us was that they were more concerned about the food going out through the to drive thru. We were the only ones sitting in the restaurant and that should've been the first sign that we shouldn't have eaten there. I liked the prices, the place was clean, but if you want service through a more timely manner than dont dine in. Honestly though we won't be going back as the food didn't taste that great to try again.
First time at this location. We have visited a few other locations in other towns. But just like everywhere else the food was great. We will be back.
The service was not the best. The food was ok. Not sure if it's come back but the pricing and serving size was good. Hated the salsa and chips
I went through the drive thru. I ordered two breakfast tacos and a large coca cola and it was over $13. I was shocked! Why so expensive? Tacos were ok but they weren't amazing. They were just regular size tacos. Nothing special in size.
