Best WLM Reviews
I like this place! My friend took me there and I have no regrets. The food was fresh, tasty and served in no time. Service was awesome as well. Interiors maybe not amazing, but cozy for sure. There is another Mexican restaurant nearby which looks much better, but the food is not so great. So if I had to choose again, I’d choose Agave!
Outstanding service and an incredible meal! We called with a large group for a reservation, and they happily accommodated us and could not have been more wonderful. The food is so fresh and delicious, the restaurant is clean and lovely, and the staff was top notch. Simply amazing!!
The Agave Cocina & Tequila restaurant was fantastic. We had margaritas, chip salsa and guacamole with smoked poblanos, Crema Blanca Chicken enchiladas, and Crema Blanca Seafood Enchiladas, all of which were top notch. If you are in Seattle (say after an Alaskan cruise) you should give this restaurant a try!!! Probably the best Mexican food we have ever had.
The food was good, but this business and others who automatically add 20% to your bill need to make sure they let customers know up front about this practice when they drop off the bill. Or, they need to ask you if you meant to pay another 20% on top of the already added gratuity -- because I assure you -- unless the server went way above and beyond just dropping off food and taking your food order, a 20% tip on top of included gratuity was unintentional. The service was lovely, and this is nothing against the server, but it was not worth 40% of the total bill. It's an incredible shady business practice.
We stumbled into this place on our way to a kraken game.
Lucky us!! Great find! Delicious food! Ten out of ten service!
Menu is not large, but it doesn’t need to be because the selected menu items are superb!
Fun cocktails!
Four very happy guests!
We had a delicious lunch right next to the Open side of the restaurant. We started off with the Pineapple Prawn Ceviche. We were wondering if we would like it because we’ve always had it with lime juice. It was outstanding! We had the the braised caritas tacos. So flavorful! Our other dish was the Warm Salad. It exceeded our expectations. The scallops, shrimp, grilled asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms on top of the spinach took this dish to the next level! Highly recommend this place! 5/5!
This place is a great place to eat at if you are craving Mexican food and you’ve just got out from visiting the Pledge Arena. The place is small but the atmosphere is incredible. The staff is friendly and professional. The restroom is clean but be cautious of the women’s restroom. It can get crowded and the wait line can be long. The wife really enjoyed her mango margarita. She said it was the best she had ever tasted. If the wife and I are ever in the area and we’re craving Mexican food we will definitely go back.
The food was good and it is a beautiful spot, however the service and the treatment we received from the manager and server was appalling. We brought our family in from out of town and I was embarrassed by the way we were treated.
We were not done with our food, we were actively ordering drinks, and they repeatedly came over and asked if we were done, when we were not done. We ordered another round of beers, and they dropped off our check, which we didn't ask for. The server then came back 30 seconds after dropping our check and asked, "if this is ready", meaning is my credit card in the check book. I said, "no". Remember, I NEVER ASKED FOR THE CHECK. We intended to order dessert and some other food.
She came back 1 minute later and asked if the check was ready. I replied, "Are we being kicked out of here? I never asked for the check.". She walked away. The manager then started circling our table glaring at us. I never felt so unwanted in our lives.
I worked as a bartender and manager for 13 years in the restaurant industry. My girlfriend has worked for 25 years as a bartender. We have never been treated like this in any restaurant nor would we have treated any other of our guests this way. We were actively ordering drinks and food. We were not drunk or acting obnoxiously. We were 4 adults with 2 teenagers. It was obvious that they wanted the table to serve other customers. If that is the case, fine, talk to us like adults and tell us your desires, but to treat us rudely, pressure us to leave, and then add a 20% service charge on top of rude service is beyond the pale.
There are a bunch of other restaurant options in the area, I suggest that everyone chooses another place. This restaurant does not deserve your money. We spent $240 on a terrible experience and were forced to pay a 20% tip for the rudest service of my lifetime.
