The service was okay. The mood in here was damp. We placed our orders and the food arrived within 20 minutes. The portions are very small for the high prices. Chips/Beans/and Rice are filler foods. My meal was mediocre and the presentation of my food left much to be desired. They need to increase their portions or decrease their prices. The food isn’t keeping them in business. It’s likely the bar/drinks that bring them repeat business.
They have excellent food, we’ve dined there several times. The drinks are tasty. The fried ice cream is divine. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent, even when they are busy. We love Agave Cocina & Cantina. We highly recommend them.
The drinks were sooo good ! The margarita flight 10/10 ! Carne asada plate has big portions, the meat was a little too salty but otherwise everything was great.
We had a decent experience here. The shrimp fajitas were typical but good. Plenty of food enough for two people to share. My parents liked the white enchiladas. Service was good even though they were pretty busy. We tried the margarita flight. Best one was a little spicy. They have two kinds of salsa. The green one is a little spicy but not bad. We would recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area. We came after a movie.

I asked to find out how much the guacamole was
As they had brought it out to Me. It was $9.00.
I told the Server I couldn’t afford it.
He graciously said “Keep it, it’s on the House!”
I will be back for sure!!

I really don’t remember what I had the first time but, what always brings me back is their Tres Leche Cake! Literally sat at the bar and had cake and a drink with my friend.
It’s so delicious! The cake is very moist and soft.
Definitely best dessert there. Even a good pick me up when someone you love is down or even for yourself ????
The drink I had was a cilantro & jalapeño which was really good if you’re into El Jimador Reposado Tequila. It had lime and a tahini chile rim.
Don’t be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations as well. They’re really friendly and helpful. Also even if you don’t order an entree you still get complimentary chips and salsa while you wait.????
Food was decent. They were accommodating with our dietary restrictions and customized it to be vegetarian. Portion size of enchiladas were smaller than other places but tasted good. We asked for burrito to be in a bowl and portion was huge. Parking could be tricky during peak hours.
Went to this Mexican Restaurant for the first time today, in the area and had some time to kill. I like Mexican food. Went in between 11-12 noon. There were very few people there, but it seemed to take a long time for waitress to come to check on myself or others at only tables, I was seated outside in patio area. Only two other tables that had customers. I was hungry, so I got up, had to go inside to tell them I was ready to place my order. ????
When Food came, I ordered from there lunch menu, still some what pricey.????
I ordered there crispy chicken tacos, plus rice and beans. It was indeed great tacos, the white shredded chicken was cooked to perfection. Also Had a strawberry margarita, that was $ 11.00 dollars. $$$. When ready to go bill came to $27.00 dollars, gave them debit card, and when they brought it back to the table she had rung up and charged me $32.00. Did not sign,???? she rushed off to fix the problem. Had to be refunded and card rung a second time for the correct amount! It kind of just all rubbed me in the wrong way. I did not leave a tip! Yes they get three stars for good food, and nice strong drink, but bad service in my opinion.
