Angel & Diamond were my servers and they were so sweet! Incredible service, great street tacos & a great atmosphere right on the river walk.

Great atmosphere we ordered chicken wings and they were not good so not ordering dinner. Took a while just to get a drink. Our server was super cool but the lady bring the drinks is super rude no personality. And our cloth napkins smell like mildew! Yuck! The mariachi band is super cool but don’t expect a lot from the food. Hennessy margarita and frozen margarita
We went for apps and drinks. They had a good happy hour. Drinks were good, but a bit heavy on the sweet & sour for the margaritas. They had a bar food happy hour. My husband enjoyed his asada fries. My nachos were ok, but the beans tasted like can beans. That's a big no no in Texas! Atmosphere was good. Location is great and romantic. Decent prices. Clean. Staff was very friendly!
Server, Gina, was a bit aloof. Not interested in getting proper answers on menu items (type of lettuce used in taco salad). She must have been having a bad day, and we were the recipients of it. Hopefully, we will have a better experience if we find ourselves in San Antonio again. Very overpriced for the quality (lack of) of food/drinks (margaritas were weak.)
It's a nice restaurant with plenty of tables either inside or outside river front. They have a big bar as well. There are plenty of TVs inside to watch your favorite games. The food was good, and the drinks were tasty. Our server got our order and drinks right away. The complementary nachos were nice and warm.
Excellent place to have dinner. BUT, if you are going to order an appetizer AND an entrée, don’t be fooled - they don’t know the definition of an appetizer because it comes out at the same time as your entree, which is an issue with small tables (for the amount of food). With the only negatives out of the way, the food is plentiful and very delicious. Or appetizer was Quesadillas and my wife and I each had a Combination Duo with rice, refried beans (mmmm…), and one each of taco, enchilada, and chalupa. Wow! My wife and I rolled out of this place. We were pleasantly stuffed. Our server was very prompt and courteous.
So if you want great Tex/Mex food then you have to give this place a try.
I was very excited to try this place given the reviews and the location. The salsa and chips was amazing so I was expecting just as amazing food. I ordered the smoked tacos with brisket meat, I had one bite and didn’t eat the rest. This is the first time I have ever done this at a restaurant. I also ordered a margarita which was great. The service was okay, the waitress was quite slow bringing out drinks, but that could be chalked up to having multiple tables. Overall, I will not be visiting again.
