Came here for my birthday dinner. Loved the food. My mom didn’t like the breakfast spot I’d picked that morning so the fact she was happy at this restaurant means a lot. It was mom approved.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was really good. We loved everything we oreded, the salsa was really good. Our server was a little flaky but the other servers seems to be doing a great job.
Great food, good drinks, and good service. Loved the coconut milk mojito and the la chamoyada. Food birria ramen was good, nice, filling, and savory. Guacamole was fresh, a bit salty but good. Plaintains with cinnamon and sweet condensed milk were delish, not overpowering. Our waitress Kim was attentive and pleasurable. I would recommend highly when you are at the outlet shoppes in the canton area.
I had the Texan Fajita Salad and it was so bland with no flavor whatsoever on the steak, shrimp or chicken! My daughter had a cheese quesadilla and the cheese was not melted. I would suggest the spicy pineapple margarita as it was good and pass on getting anything to eat here. Also, I'm a stickler for looking at the health score and could not see it within eyesight of the entrance!
Agave Azul has mediocre food and drinks. I started with a Jamaica, which was just sweet, only sweet, no Jamaica flavor. I had to send it back. The chips were stale, and the salsa had no kick to it. Hubby got the carnitas tacos, which were okay, but I got the beef sopas, which had tough meat, and I couldn't cut through the sopas.
We asked for spicy salsa. They gave us some red sauce that was hot but otherwise tasteless.
This place was outstanding! We usually go to a different Mexican restaurant and I'm generally hesitant to check out new ones because a lot of them are quite bland, however... this is a diamond in the rough.
The food was fresh. Their salsa is something to write home about, it has a ton of flavor. I had beef tacos and a taco salad with chicken, and both were fantastic. My husband loved his fish tacos.
We let the manager know how blown away we were with the service and food, and he had our waitress come back to us with a free shot of tequila each! Also, if you like margaritas you cannot go wrong with the passion fruit margarita. It's the best margarita I've ever had.
Came for lunch. The food was great and the service was fantastic. The street tacos were great! And the Fried cauliflower yummmm. I Would come back again!!!
Made the mistake of basing decision to come here off cool design and decor of exterior. Its your run of the mill tourist trap with prime placement when you are out and about shopping the outlet mall. I had a margarita and it was generally tasteless. Salsa was blah, chips tasted like off brand nachos from Dollar Store. Kids meal was school cafeteria chicken tenders with ketchup packets for fries. Marlowe's is in the same parking lot, go there.
