An average place overall. The food & service was okay but nothing great. I don’t know about the others, but my plate was lukewarm.
Dinner with cousins!! Life is short and special invitations to dinner don’t happen all that often. I am an East side girl and haven’t gone to Agatina’s in quite some time. I was happy to be back. The chicken pastina soup had great flavor. The bread was hot. The portions were huge. The gnocchis were melt in your mouth and the sauce is amazing.The peanut butter pie had lots of whole peanuts. All of the desserts were awesome and everyone was happy to have leftovers to enjoy again. Our corner, round table was the perfect spot to share and enjoy a wonderful conversation about family memories. I hope your visit here is as enjoyable as mine was!
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I was there with a large party and the food was timely, correct and fantastic for all of us! They even offered to put in the order for the 4 kids who were there first, which was really helpful and appreciated! The chicken cutlets are amazing!
Fantastic food. You can tell that who ever is designing these meals has been doing it for a long time. Outstanding!
Service was minimal at best. Meatball appetizer was Blagh. Bacon wrapped scallops were fishy bay scallops. 5 of em for 12 or 14$. Seriously? If they are fishy they are old throw em out! Service was borderline. Bread was stale. And an extra charge if you wanted more! For what you got and all the additional charges. Won’t be back for the price. My cousins lasagna was" microwaved” overpriced serving! lol. Won’t go back for o priced lack of service and poor bar service and waiting despite reservation. Awful! I could have made this entire meal at home for bout 30 and it would have been fabulous! skip this dump!
Wedding soup and seafood fra Diavola in scampi sauce was the best. My uncle had some bad pesto and it was replaced with another meal without any issues. Excellent service!
Had our rehearsal dinner here, and we are very glad we did. Management was patient with us and bent over backwards to make our night special. The food was great, everyone took home a lot of leftovers. My Chicken French was melt-in-mouth good (very thin cutlet and balanced flavor). The cookies and canolis were a great dessert! And the Italian Wedding Soup was amazing! We will be customers of Agatina's for years to come!
Good old school Italian, but not at the level that had been previously.
The stuffed escarole with artichoke hearts is a must try, fantastic. Eggplant parmesan, very good. Alfredo, Skip it.
Friday fish fry - A nice big piece of batter dipped haddock and the coated fries are outstanding. One thing, in a white tablecloth restaurant one would normally not see tartar sauce served in a Ken's dressings single serve cup. Take-out perhaps, but table service, no way. Have some pride and make up the tartar up fresh on Thursday night. It has like four ingredients.
The service was fantastic. We had a large group with a young child, and the staff was amazingly patient with us and made the evening very nice.
