Our first experience was ridiculous. Less then 10min visit and that includes check in so maybe even 3mins in the room and was sent back out. Good thing I took my daughter back into Presbyterian the following day cause she ended up having croup and not a URI . Also our N.P was just yawning, didn't even do test to rule everything else out. Would not recommend this place unless you want to end up at the ER !!!
Got us in for a same day evening appointment for my baby. Dr. Peggy (I think was her name) was kind, respectful and professional. The nurse Jennifer was nice as well as the front desk staff. Thank you!
We saw Dr. KATHY D’ARRIGO, and we had some valid concerns about my daughter. However, she asked if we were concerned about her weight, and we said “no, she has the genetics of her dad, and he thinned out when he quit growing.” Then she proceeded to make the whole appt. About her weight. We eat healthy at home, and rarely eat out, and she participates in sports. We were on the defensive the whole time, and she never addressed any of our other concerns. Thank you for adding to her insecurities even more!
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but when it comes to the health of my children, I feel like it is reasonable. I called in schedule a same day visit for my child’s cough as I did have to miss work for a few days already and travel out my way to this appointment to get my child back in school as her cough has been bothering her for sometime I received a little to no help with Dr. Clara Veronica Jee she also came off very rude did not greet me or my child as well. did not check my child’s throat more so said the cough is just allergies and sent us on about our day again not greeting us out the door & leaving the room within five minutes, it’s terrible because they picked this physician so even if it was later in her shift, she should have the experience knowledge on how to go about seeing children with coughs as we are just saying it’s just allergies and letting them go back to school to possibly infect another child as you didn’t truly do your job right to even in fact, check her throat to see if there was something back there that could be an infection. All she did was check her ears. Hire better doctors for these children not ones here for there paycheck and to pick and choose whos children’s they should help. She didn’t even really look like she was interested in children. Terrible experience.
I have always loved the providers at After Hours Pediatrics no matter which clinic they were seen at. Today, however, we had our first bad experience at this location. The nurse practitioner was short and dismissive and seemed to not care at all. She seemed highly inconvenienced, asked few questions, spent a few minutes in the room and then brushed it off as a virus with no next steps if the symptoms do not resolve. Covid test and Strep tests were both negative. She treated us like hypochondriacs. I worry for her because I think she will face litigation sometime for her dismissive demeanor. My son said "she didn't even ask me how much pain there was. She just said that if it was severe she would treat it as an emergency. I wanted to tell her that it's pretty severe." But he couldn't tell her because she seemed to have zero compassion and zero interest in helping.
This place is great. You can always get a last minute/same day appointment when needed which saves you from trying to find an urgent care. Everyone there is so accommodating. Several times we forgot to ask for a doctor's note and the front desk staff take care of it right away and don't make us feel like we are a nuisance. I'm very happy with the care my kids get here.
Won’t talk to me about my daughter who hasn’t eaten in three days and has had a fever of 102 because they need money for medical advice
I'm super disappointed in their new policy to only see patients that do primary care there. They will no longer make appointments for sick kids unless they are previously established patients that have had a well check up. We've used them for 15 years when our kids have been sick and you could always get in the same day with a convenient appointment but not anymore. So much for meeting a need to not have to wait hours at urgent care with a sick kid. This doesn't motivate me to sign up for primary care here.
