I started to see the doctor a while back and after a couple of visits, I can understand why those who have given a review graded her only one star.
I believe the doctor has two offices in two different locations, one in Manhattan and the other one in the Bronx.
I am almost sure that the grading of one star maybe as a result of the Bronx office.
The office appears to be a bit disorganized and yes, I did notice files and patients records laying around where others could see; but it is my belief that the doctor is lacking help to organize that office and keep it tidy.
In regard to her care, I believe that she does know her profession, but it is unfortunate that because her office in the Bronx is a little Chaotic, it’s where most people may be forming their opinions from.
Most of us make our first judgement by what we see and unfortunately for Dr. khan, this can and will cause a great problem and the potential of loss of patients as a result.
I pray and hope that she’s able to find a way to change the views of people through making a few changes.

Can't keep appointments, I called and surprisingly the Dr. herself picked up, I was told I could show up 7PM on a Monday. I arrived about 10 mins early and the office was locked, I called again and the Dr. picked up and told me my referring Dr. made a mistake, which is a lie because their office never called I did. I was then told to reschedule, because there had been an emergency, which would have been fine if i was called and told this earlier in the day before I left for my appointment. Very unprofessional, Dr needs to hire staff to keep appointments. and reschedule if needed.
Does not keep her appointments. She was an hour late for her video visit scheduled on zocdoc during a work day. Fine, a neurologist is busy, I completely understood. However, I keep calling the office because my appointment time has passed by 20-30 then 40 minutes at that point and and I have no contact from her office. I called twice thinking l'm speaking to a receptionist and she snaps at me the second time and confirms its actually her, the doctor... and shes now angry at ME for calling. She says in a frustrated tone "I know you're very anxious to start so fine lets start now." this is 1 hour into my appointment time with no word on when my video visit actually takes place. After the call she assures me l can see her in her office on Saturday (today) at 5 and she tells me shes putting trust in me not to show up late or no-show. I had a bad feeling when I woke up this morning so l call her office (her cell it seems, she has no receptionist) what do you know! She has no memory of our appointment (to be fair I was an idiot for trusting a verbal agreement with this unreliable woman). She says she wont be in the office at our appointment time. How surprising. No respect for her patients time, no reliability. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand. There are better medicaid doctors, do not settle for this.
Dr Khan, when nobody knew what to do she knew. Takes time to research and get to the root of the problem to make all the necessary correction. Highly recommend wonderful Doctor!
New patient. She didnt arrive and called after an hour to reschedule a video visit. On second appointment did not answer phone rescheduled teice.in same day and still did not arrive on time. Secretary didnt.even bother to notify us she was not arriving. Left the office will not returns unprofessional.
After numerous visits I'm done..She's the worst! office is in disarray files all over the place.. A cute little nasty dog is in the room while shes examining you , she'll give you an appt at 4pm and never be there in time.. she's always hours late.. Sometimes shows up after 7 ,
With a line forming with a group of patients outside on the street waiting for her to show up.. when she does shows up she's ordering food and on the phone with other patients..another 30 minutes wait.. I heard patients left her office at midnight.. I left one time after 9pm..
No respect for her patients and their time..I'm truly done!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
I had a wonderful experience while under Dr.Kahan care. Dr.Khan has displayed professionalism and empathy towards her patients. I enjoy the visits because she always provides quality services.
