The staff was very helpful. The food was great. We traveled 45 minutes to eat here and were very pleased.
TThe owner pretends to not see customers
We walked in while she was dealing with a customer. She dealt with him then went to the back to call a worker to deal with us . She ignored our presence the entire time we were there . She did not even wanna serve our food . The server that dealt with us (the Indian girl) she was the reason we stayed there .
If you’re not African don’t go there expecting good service .
Ps they don’t even have menus in the restaurant.
You’re expected to go on google to see what they have .
I landed in JFK, all famished, and I wanted great African food. I booked a hotel near the airport, and by chance, this place was within walking distance. I came by just minutes before they closed for the night. I ordered take-out. I got beef soup with two fufu, and let me tell you! It was what I had imagined of what I was craving as soon as I landed back in NY!
Auntie was super friendly and served me the perfect amount of food. Thank you, Auntie! Your food was so, so delicious!

First time here and it was such a great experience!! I’m pregnant so I was craving it and this restaurant was not too far so Me and my boyfriend ordered eguisi soup and the pounded yam that came with it. The workers were so nice and welcoming they were curious if we liked it and it was sooo good honestly! 10/10 would recommend and would order here again ????????
Food so good,the Egi’s is gangster ????but the hall was too hot,that’s not a fan in there…she makes money but won’t spend it on service improvements
The meatpie is so tin this is a ripoff for $5 don’t taste good not fresh, sorry I will never order from here no more
It was my first time going there. It was really good. I got the okra soup with FuFu. It was really good but I just didn’t like how the chicken leg was so big. I don’t like big chicken leg so next time I would just try with something else otherwise the food was great. I will go back.
