These ladies where really fun. One lady braided the other chatted. They speak french, as do I. So it was nice getting my hair done and talking. I was able to get my hair done last min. They squeezed me in. They are reasonably priced. I was quoted all kinds of numbers by 2 different woman. (that part I didn’t liked) In the end I ended up paying 200 flat fee after 5-5.5 hours of braiding. I think the woman that braided my hair, braided a little too tight at my edges but I can work with her to get it less tight. Overall, enjoyed my experience. Ill go back for box braids probably next
Service was great! I was an hour late for my appointment, however, Aisha was still able to sit me within 15min of my arrival. Typically it takes braiders over 10 hours to do my hair, Aisha was able to complete my knotless braids in 5. Towards the end it was another sweet young lady to assist with completing the braiding. Overall service was great! My only feedback; it would be very beneficial to have a card machine. ???? I will be returning!
BUYER BEWARE----PRICE GOUGING TACTICS!!! We were quoted $260.00 and had great conversations with the receptionist days prior (the only reason why they got 2 stars.) It took 2 hours to drive to the place. When we arrived we were told we had to wait a few hours AND it would cost $395.00. WTH!!
We have to speak out on businesses that prey on people like this. These type of tactics are unacceptable and should not be tolerated. BOYCOTT ALL BUSINESSES LIKE THIS!!
I went in last week for mid back, medium knotless braids. I ended up with long, smedium if you ask me which is what most women want anyways. Just to differentiate what I wanted vs what I got in case the price isn’t spot on but I love the way they came out. They will last just as long as the box braids if not longer because I like the natural new growth look with beads. (2 in one hairstyle if you ask me ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️) The hair was provided. It cost $200 amounting to $230 after tip. I was told that a hair wash was an extra $10 which was fair. I still washed my hair myself because I had the time to do so. My hair is fairly long and thick and it hurt a lot at first using the brush and blow dryer method to soften my hair. Once the nape of my hair was done they used a brush+blow dryer unit and it was like night and day. 2 wonderful women did my hair. One did the whole back and the other the top. We started a little before 1pm and by 5 something I was dipped and done. I recommend calling in advance. I called and was serviced on a Saturday but arrived a little before they did because they actually opened up the salon to accommodate my work schedule which was very nice of them. I will return and highly recommend ♥️
5.17.21 This was my first visit to this shop for box braids. I do not know the name of the hairstylist, but she did a fantastic professional job. I love the care she took with my hair and she stay until the job was done. I would like to give the shop 5 stars but: 1) I waited an hour because the hairstylist/owner/scheduler was late, 2) I was was given a phone quote of $160 and up. I paid $200 which is not bad! 3) There is a $20 coupon for making Monday or Wednesday appointments which was not honored. I was told the coupon is based on the length of the hair, which is not spelled out on the website. I'm a business woman too, and if I have a coupon on my website I would honor it no matter what. 4) I think things could be a little cleaner, especially first thing Monday morning. I did speak to the owner about the coupon and made a suggestion to either remove it or add the criteria of the value. Would I go back, yes. I'm hoping this is a place I can return to time and time again. Everyone very friendly. I've been to other braiding shops and the experiences were not favorable. The stylus that was the only one in the shop (at the time) placed a second call to ensure the arrival of the stylus scheduled to do my hair. The owner apologized for her lateness, but If i was her, i would have honored the coupon. I'm a big tipper, but the lateness and the coupon put a damper on that. Hopefully on my next trip my hair will be just as fabulous and the coupon situation will be remedied. I never write reviews but felt this one necessary.
Omggg best salon I have been to in a WHILE. Fast service, comforting space, good vibes, AND they do they thing on the hair. This was my first time getting my hair done here and WONT be my last.
I will never go anywhere else to braid my hair. I love all these ladies. Just got my hair done yesterday and slept like a baby. My hair wasn’t tight at all and I always get compliments on my braids. I recommend this shop if you want to feel like family and not just a customer. They treat you like they knew you forever. Since it’s a small shop they move fast and you’re not there all day. I missed them during this pandemic so glad they’re back working.
I absolutely love my hair. My experience at the salon was so pleasant. My hair is currently very short but the ladies were more than willing to work with me. They explained to me the dilemma.Originally I wanted box braids, but due to my hair being short they suggested small box braids instead. For my length and size they were $250. Honestly, it was the best $250 I’ve spent. I am in love with my hair. I will absolutely return to this salon.
