Best WLM Reviews
The food was delicious. The oxtail tender and perfectly seasoned. The service was excellent as well and they made sure we were well attended to. We were given many recommendations and I loved it all. The drink tasted like juice but it definitely doesn’t feel like juice. The atmosphere was such a vibe with all the songs you know to give an island feel. Thank you Anjeh’s. We will be back.
I was in the area and looked up restaurants in the area and came across this little Gem of a place. The food was delicious. It did not disappoint. They were out of the bread but the meal was still very good I had the oxtail with plantains and yams and rice.
Check the menu with the new owners because menu has a Tropical Cheesecake on it but it was just a small piece of cheesecake no pineapple no mango.
My husband and I had dinner at Anjeh's last night; and we were delighted by the warm hospitality of the host/owner, who shared her lovely charisma and brave story about opening the restaurant. I enjoyed the island wings, mac-n-cheese and collards; and my hubby had the salmon cakes. The music and vibe transformed me to another place!
I was utterly shocked when i got home and found the establishment even let this food go out of the establishment! The chicken was dry and burnt, Mac and cheese no seasoning at all, not even a speck of pepper anywhere, dry and old! It looked like some noodles were cooked and cheap cheese that wouldn’t even melt was thrown on top, the cabbage was beyond old, mushy and greasy, the cornbread… was dry went i broke it in half and was soggy and mushy on top. It’s bad enough out here everything is insanely high but to be served this mess that was even edible is insane! We wasted time and money… I would have been better off just coming home and eating a bowl of homemade soup i know that would have been edible and not made me sick! I’m thankful i didn’t even attempt to eat this! I have seen your response we were told by the staff last night that you would be open today from 12-7 and could receive a refund. We were there this evening at 6:35 and the place was already closed. So we weren’t able to receive the refund as we were told we would receive.
Just when I thought I couldn’t find a restaurant worse than cocoa’s for Jamaican food. I honestly don’t know whose food is worse. I ordered a ox tail plate. The oxtails were burnt. I quess they call themselves giving me 3 oxtails but if you look it is one oxtail and 2 half’s. The Mac n cheese and the cabbage was horrible. First and last time visiting.
Anntony’s Caribbean cafe had great music playing in the background. We walked in and it had flags hanging on the ceiling with cute fans. On the entrance they have a small table for you to leave a business card if you have one. They also sell bottled sauces. They have a bar area, were you can sit in high chairs and drink your beverage. They have outside seating as well with a speaker that has music playing. We ordered wings that were crispy and good. This restaurant is located on the right side of the building if you’re facing it. Not inside the market
Food is terrible. You should be ashamed to sell food of this quality. Never will I ever purchase anything from here.
5/12/24 @the owner - I will not return for another anything. That food was so terrible, I did not even allow my dog to eat it. The potato salad was cold potatoes with no seasoning or taste, the chicken was disgusting, tough and flavorless. I can’t stress enough the inadequacies of the food. You should be refunding every order that is a complaint. You got me once but never again.
After searching around for food near by we came across Anjeh’s and decided to give it try after looking at the menu and a few reviews. Thank GOD we did it was delicious. Nice vibe good music and the food was delicious. It gave me authentic cuisine. I and my associate had the Beef patty’s, ribs appetizer and the curry chicken and oxtail meals respectively and it was spot on 5 outta 5. A server/waiter was attentive and informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
