Ohmygosh, I loved the food and finished all I ordered and I don’t usually finish. I got the lamb dish with peanut sauce and definitely recommend trying the ginger juice!
Wish they had a branch in DC area but now I know and will be back!
And the portions are pretty good! I struggled to finish my food but am visiting so didn’t want to waste any of it ????
After I opened my food noticed that the vermicel was spoiled and the smell was sour. (I’m African I know what it should smell and look like)
Thought I should call the restaurant to inform them. not one word of apology, all he said was “we made it today do you want another one”
First apologize to your customer, take accountability and make it right with the customer. Don’t serve spoiled food to take away customers.
What a lovely find in Harlem, food generous portions, very tasty &halal✨ they have outside seating very nice vibe. ???????????????????????? a must visit when you looking for good African food ????
A bit too laid back African restaurant. Dishes do take a while to come out after ordering. Crispy grilled fish, good lamb and pork knuckle soup full of collagen.
Everytime I come back home i must go here and order as much as possible. The food is always delicious. Love love loveeee. You will be waiting awhile however so keep busy in the meantime but worth the wait . Food always fresh
Excellent African food.
This place is alcohol-free but you can buy your beer in the next-door place if would like to (I say so because I wanted a beer but it's not mandatory ????). The dishes are huge so if you going make sure you are starving. Kindly staff.
I heard that Senegaleese food was all the rave and that Africa Kine was a great place to sample it, but our party was not impressed. We were there at 5:00pm and were forced to eat off of the lunch menu, even though 5:00pm is well after lunch and it was almost dark outside. We ordered a variety of dishes and were very underwhelmed by the quality of the food. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor. We had two types of rice and both were bland. Overall, everyone in our party agreed that Senegaleese was not as good as foods from other parts of the world, such as vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Thailand, etc.
The absolute BEST African food restaurant!!! I’ve been to a few but African Kine tops them all. The food is very fresh and delicious. Everyone is always very friendly. They make you feel like family. Thank you African Kine! ????????
