The food here is phenomenal paired with a very cozy atmosphere and great service. My wife and I came into the restaurant when it wasn't too busy and our orders came fairly quickly

This place is a real gem and worth a visit for dinner. The food is so authentic and delicious every time I’ve been here. I had the lamb shank, and it was melting in my mouth and very well prepared. The prices are about $20 for dinner, which is just outstanding for the quality of food that you get here. So quick overview. We went there with a party of seven people. We got our food very very quickly served to us by the owner. It was fabulous and delicious food. We were in no rush to leave and we stayed and talked for a long time. A nice place to socialize.
They have a vegetarian section on the menu, with some vegan options. They will also modify to make vegetarian options vegan as well. The sweet potato dumplings were tasty. The lentil dish and spinach dish weren’t as flavorful as we were hoping.
Loved the experience. We had Bolani as an appetizer with some Dough, and Lamb Shank Qabuli Palow and Mixed Dashi that were cooked to perfection, tinder and juicy. Naeem was so kind and gives us a Ferni (pudding) on the house. Highly recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet you’re definitely missing out. Shout out to their exceptional service and food.
This is my favorite place to eat in SLC. I can't believe it's not packed every night. I've never had something I didn't like here. The food is fantastic, portions are huge, prices are reasonable, place is cute and service is top notch. Get the lamb palow!
Beautiful restaurant, nicely decorated, and friendly staff. The food portions were great. The only feedback I had was the hummus was a little sweet, sweeter than what I am used to. Other than that, it was very flavorful food! The naan was exceptional!!!
Superb place! I went with my mom and we got the bi veggie (serves 2) which comes with your choice of appetizer, two veggie dishes, rice, and cucumber salad. The dumplings are amazing and I enjoyed the eggplant and potato. We ate until we were full and still had some left over to take home. The place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's very modestly decorated on the inside but don't let this stop you from eating here. Everything was delicious and the servers were kind and attentive. I'm definitely coming back to try more dishes.
Update: I came back and got the "my meating" platter for 2 and that was very good as well!
Really great food, service and atmosphere. This was my first Afghan food and it will not be my last! The food is delicious! Not over seasoned, not spicy, just right! The staff were extremely friendly and super helpful. It is a smaller dining area but it is cozy. There is no prayer room but there is space in the restroom. If you haven’t been you should go. If you’ve been before, you should go back. I know I will.
