Best WLM Reviews
The tables can accommodate a party if at least six adults and some small children if you decide to eat in.
The authentic combination of seasonings throughout the chunky pieces of lamb Kabob are flavorful. The rice is so light and fluffy...add that with the freshly chopped mixed vegetable salad and side sauces.... and you have a flavorful delight! The portions were enough that I was able to share my meal. I especially enjoy it because it's Not fast food, and healthy as well. ????????????
Best food I've ever eaten. I've had Afghan food elsewhere but nothing compares. I ordered the lamb platter with naan. The naan was flavorful enough to eat on its own. The lamb and rice individually had enough spices to overwhelm my palate; together it was like heaven. If you want delicious food, here is your best option. I drove from Monmouth county and I can't wait to come back.
We went to this restaurant today. We arrived just 25 to 30 minutes before closing, yet they warmly welcomed us, took our order, and promptly served our food without any rush. Everything was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home.
The freshly baked naan was incredibly soft and flavorful, and the kabobs were juicy and bursting with spices. Even the rice had a unique flavor that was refreshing and perfectly complemented the meal. For just $23, the portion size was generous—truly an amazing value! We were also pleasantly surprised to find a small space available for prayer, which added a thoughtful touch to the experience.
We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place!
I yesterday ordered food for the first time from this place, and it was amazing! The flavors were incredible, truly authentic Afghan cuisine. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I can confidently say this is my new favorite spot for Afghan food. Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rahim, God Bless you Brother ❤️
You seem so kind and the gyro sandwich was delicious. Can’t wait to dine in soon. Tender pita, well seasoned meat, and the salad was fresh
We used to frequent Afghan Kabob & Grill back in the day, at least 10 years ago when it first opened its doors on Route 33 in Hamilton. Since then the restaurant has moved up, in both its quality and the significantly expanded menu.
We were very satisfied with our meal, and even though there is a some truth to certain reviews pointing out to slightly burnt meats, overall the food was delicious and the portion sizes very decent.
We ordered a "Family Kabob" ($55.99 via GrubHub) which included four different kinds of kabobs (Mediterranean, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and beef seekh) and it was served in a big party tray, enough to feed at least 2 or 3 people.
We will definitely order a take-out from Afghan Kabob & Grill again.
Zinger Burger: Stay away from it. It’s just a small tiny tender on a bun.????????♂️
Chicken Cheesesteak: I am so glad they are not in Philly, otherwise they would have been out of business by now.
Overall, very poor taste of food.
Nice Clean seating area. Food is delicious. Kebobs platters are good. Our grilled chicken was some what overdone. Staff was nice to redo. Liked the bread.
